One way the Trump admin is kinda boring is that it creates two GINORMOUS echo chambers. With Obama, you had a lot of divisions (mostly on the left) on his policies. You had a decent amount of debate. With Trump? We all hate him. At least Charm City Jimmy (@Timon19, Last Week ) brings a different point. Even if it often an insane one.
A former student of Kentucky's Transylvania University was arrested Friday after he allegedly stormed a campus café with a machete and a bag of knives, quizzed students on their political affiliations --- I hear the blood pudding is a real hit there
I'm the rare Penn State fan who was grateful that OSU got into the playoff ahead of us. That would not have been pretty.
I rarely eat meat. And there is a bit of confusing debate (to me) about which one is the "real" one, because apparently two brothers had a fight and one of them opened a "new" place (decades back from what I can tell) around the corner. One is on Lackawanna, the other is on Cedar just before it becomes Adams. Both claim to be "the original." But one of these days when I'm avoiding work and forgot to pack my lunch I'll try one or both of them.
Yeah, what Smurfquake said: that might be classified as a "pre-existing condition" any day now, so the insurance company will no longer be obligated to cover it.
I've always gone to the one on Lackawanna and always thought that was the original. Good Italian in that area as well. Sambucca.
Winning all the time: The US economy started 2017 at a sluggish pace. It only grew at an annual pace of 0.7% in the first three months of the year, according to the Commerce Department's report on gross domestic product, the broadest measure of economic activity. It was the slowest quarter of growth since the first quarter of 2014. Weak consumer spending was the main culprit for the anemic growth, which has become routine for the US economy since the Great Recession ended in 2009. Since then, the US has averaged about 2% annual growth. http://money.cnn.com/2017/04/28/news/economy/us-gdp-q1-2017/
Suck on this all you purveyors of negativity. All in 100 days no fewer less! The Hill Trump: My first 100 days 'just about the most successful' ever The Hill - 4 hours ago President Trump on Friday touted the accomplishments of his first 100 days in office, calling his administration one of the "most successful" in history.
It may be dumb, but the writer is not alone in thinking that, (which you will see if you google it). My one and only point was that Dabo knocked the appearance of invincibility off of both Urban and Nick just a tad, and I thank him for that.
A silly NBA story with an SEC connection as I watch the Celtics drill the Bulls by 30. Aliases used by Thunder players when checking into hotels: Crash Bandicoot (Legendary video game character) Walter White (Breaking Bad) Tony Stark (Iron Man) Jeffrey Lebowski (I think you can figure this one out) Marty Funkhouser (Curb Your Enthusiasm) Gotta like whoever uses The Funk. But some dude is just plain weird: Some players elected to go with living, breathing human beings as their aliases, including comedians Chris Rock and Chris Tucker, along with the curious selection of current FAU football coach Lane Kiffin. Lane Kiffin? Really?
If you read his tweets he doesn't actually say he's going to get a 'better deal' does he. he just says 'relationships are good - deal very possible'. I think we all know what's going to happen, don't we... i.e. the same as the clowns we've got in charge with their 'negotiations'
This is literally the logic of "people are saying" that Trump uses. Sure, idiots say stuff all the time. That's exactly why I have an ignore list.
Pizza, hot dogs, and we should probably put barbecue on the list as well. Nothing good comes from disagreements about what kind of barbecue is actually barbecue. I mean, all good thinking people understand that Texas barbecue is good, and St Louis barbecue is kind of edible if you accept that God made pigs as a substandard imitation of beef, and Carolina barbecue is something that's not actually barbecue, I mean, you might as well be talking about how Australian people put "shrimp on the barbie" like it's deserving of the same consideration as actual food, but that's a discussion that really doesn't belong here. Anyways, the weather's getting nice so maybe I'll get a Santa Maria tri-tip and grill it this weekend. Note how I didn't call it barbecue.
