Trump has a Yuge list of people pushing for the Chief of Staff job and says he has it down to a final 10-12 applicants. None of the applicants seem to have what it takes for the job though so Trump has turned to the man who does all things in the office.

The man who was responsible for the firing for the last and probably all previously Chiefs of Staff in this admin. Trump's son in law Jared Kushner.

Trump's absolutist policies actually make many of these really easy (the policy on the Middle East is Israel is always right, the policy of the opioid epidemic is opioid takers are criminals, and so on).
