Something caled The Hunt. You can find the trailer on youtube. I mean, I could, too, but my wifi is glacially slow today. What my wife calls "dial up wi-fi."
I would think that movie would give Trumpists a raging boner. "Deplorables" hunted by rich liberals, turning the tables and getting their revenge. They get to claim victimization (one of their favorite pastimes) from made up left wing violence (another of their favorite pastimes). Instead, the "liberals hunting deplorables" version goes away, while we still have the "racists hunting a black man" version ("Surviving the Game") and the "rich guys hunting Belgians" version ("Hard Target").
It occured to me in the light of El Paso . . . I can't rule out the possibility that this was a coordinated effort to mis-represent the movie because the last thing the GOP needs is one of the raging boneheads in the base to get the sort of raging boner that sends him into the active shooter scenario of his incel fantasies. . . Only at a Target or Macy's instead of Wal-Mart.
I don't really have an opinion on the movie because I know nothing about it (I know, this is the internet, no knowledge is required), but it seemed kind of first amendment-y. Dear leader doesn't like the show, so it just goes away. Or maybe the movie is just that bad (sounds like it could be).
I saw a screening of this for reviewers. Rich liberals set traps for deplorables, baiting them with grits and twinkies.
My understanding is that it was more a situation where the studio realized it was a bad time to release such a movie. Sort of like a bunch of projects got delayed due to 9/11.
No, no, no. Critters will eat the grits before a Whitelandian ever stumbles upon it. But if you were to spray around some Mountain Dew leading them to Marlboros/Skoal and a bag of pork rinds, it'd be easy pickins.
Of course it did. Trump actually didn't really want it to go away, he wanted to be able to use it to put down Hollywood. But the Hollywood studio responsible chose to take it away, and deprived him from the pleasure.
Winning! US budget deficit this year has already eclipsed last year's total https://t.co/giP0PRBcMU pic.twitter.com/VBjNDerOyz— The Hill (@thehill) August 12, 2019 "Trump is ruining our markets!" Bob Kuylen, a North Dakota farmer, told CNBC. "No one is buying our product no more, and we have no markets no more." Kuylen lost $70 per acre this year, and Trump's bailout for farmers only pays him $15 per acre. https://t.co/197UkmMaNT— EssenViews (@essenviews) August 12, 2019
This is a cult Dumbass GOP senator: 'We have to keep going' with Trump's trade war even if it causes a recession https://t.co/Doi5JyZ7jj— Trump4CellBlockD 🇺🇸✈️⚓ 🌊🇺🇦 (@CraigCo62) August 12, 2019
And to kick Trump Farmers in the nuts, Perdue calls them whiners. More spousal abuse from this administration. 90% will vote for him anyway
This one's funny AF I'm white, old, they call me all kinds of names': Iowan tells MSNBC to 'guess' who he is voting for
Maybe the guy is a Manchurian Dem. A heightened trade war would be very good for Democrats. Very very good.
