Based on your posts so far, you show that you have a pretty poor grasp on European / Indian interaction, aside from the American Mythology, which is the offspring of the 15th-17th century beliefs of the ethnocultural superiority of Europe vs. the rest of the world, but particularly of places they were in the process of colonizing.

    I simply said:

    1. European culture and Native American culture proved incompatible.
    2. Due to greed and will to possess more and more Europeans lead to Genocide of North American Natives.
    3. Industrial revolution and military technology aided this genocide.

    Are the above incorrect?

Anything below is Latin America. But this has nothing to do with discussion.

    1) "native American" is not a thing. We do not call ourselves that.
    2) There is no singular "Native American" culture. The culture of the Comanche is as different from the Cherokee as the culture of the English is from the Greeks.

The staggering majority of assimilation and genocide happened long after colonizing Europeans no longer had effective influence in North America. That fell to their offspring, the Americans and at times, to a greater & more brutal degree, the Canadians. This includes far more than the "Indian Wars" that you're familiar with, thanks to Hollywood dramatization (mostly false portrayals as well), because you are excluding the removals of Eastern Tribes to the west, assimilation through proselytization, the whole attempted Spanish subjugation of the Southwest, the Assimilation Schools & Reservation System, further removals to non-native lands, the Tribal Termination period, up and into the modern period of government to government relations & cultural subjugation & appropriation.

Far less either of those and far more the flood of wretched refuse from Europe and the outmigration of former slaves from the South as they began to integrate into American society. For a short time, military technology gave Indians the ability to wage far more effective asymetric warfare against the US Military. Had they had even a reasonable amount of equal weapons against colonizing European nations, the effect would have been a lot more like America's expedition into Vietnam or modern Afghanistan against an entrenched indigenous opponent that wins only by only need to fight to a bloody & protracted stalemate.

Not even on a pre-school level.

A private language is apt to be meaningless to the rest of the world. Likewise a private geography.

Sure you did. You just didn't know it.

It is implicit in the whole framework of the "history" you recited.

Prairie Nations? I assume you mean Great Planes, middle of the US (and Canada)? Read about Tucson, and the Mission Trail, addition to what TaosJohn and Mr. Warmth have given you.

To be fair, I did not know that prior to interaction with Native Indians. And that comes up in discussion on occasion here on this board.

Yup. Those Huron really had a lot in common with those Navajo. And I'm sure those Sioux really knew how to carve buildings into cliffs about as well as the Pueblo knew how to hunt buffalo.

    Manifest Destiny and all that.

Since you don't seem to get it (and forgive me for my misstatements, @Mr. Warmth)
This is an incomplete and cliched statement. Basically, they were incompatible because the European progeny has no interest in allowing the Native Indians to be compatible.
Again, a simplification. Basically, it was superiority, kind of a version of what European Royalty called Divine Right. My comment above of Manifest Destiny is basically saying that there was land, and the European progeny thought it was God's (Christian's) right to take it.
I suppose one could say that, but it was mostly as a mop-up. Beyond the Appalachians, the effect Industrial Revolution was significantly lower until after the Civil War...or maybe the war of 1812. A key factor was the expansion of railroads, but by then, the Native Indians were already mostly killed off/relocated.

Mostly, yes. Saying they are correct is a bit like saying Jules Rimet is responsible for 32 teams being in the World Cup in Brazil in 2014.

The Colombian Mrs CP says that they were taught that there are 6 continents in the world. Just one 'Merica stretching from Canadia to the tip of Chile's ass.

Hell - since Eurasia is one landmass there should only be 5.

That there is redundant. Like saying Dylan Roof was a fan of SEC football.
