--I've been watching and enjoying it. I was sold once I heard it starred Eccleston and Ejiofor. This most recent episode was quite action-packed.
Indeed! I'm still not entirely sure whether 'Gatehouse' is meant to be secret service or some other kind of ne'er do well. He refers to himself as Glickman's 'handler' so... I didn't see Glickman's girlfriend being an assassin though, I must say. Hopefully it will maintain it's form.
I clicked the link thinking it would be a movie/TV series of the Joseph Conrad book, which is quite good. Still, glad to hear about a new series with Eccleston, so thanks for the heads up. Will be on the lookout.
Eccleston's good but Stephen Rea and Rafe Spall, (son of Timothy), are better IMO. But then, I've always had a soft spot for villains. In that regard Peter Glickman, played by Anthony Sher, (who I saw as Richard III when he was with the RSC), is as good now as he was then. Having said that I'll always think of him as 'The History Man' from the early 80's.
