    Not so much, group A and B are tougher. Yemen and Vietnam have nothing to say in this level.

    Group B is also not bad, but in Group A Syria is obvious favourite at this age

    Interesting lineups for both matches e.g. Ikonomidis starts in the second but not in the first against a stronger Korean side, whereas Yeboah did. I understand the need for experimentation but surely you want to test the strongest together in this environment? That's what the Koreans did.

    Anyway, I just hope we actually get some results in the U23 tournament. A repeat of last time will surely mean showing the door to Vidmar. Travel and lack of time won't be an excuse since all matches are played in Doha, not home/away.

    All our male football teams have Kangaroo theme. We started with Socceroos for the senior team in the 1970's, then when under 20's became a regular FIFA competition they became the young socceroos. With the inception of under 17's they became the Joeys (baby Kangaroo for those that don't know) and when the Olympics became an under 23 competition for 1992 we called them the Olyroos.
