So goals are difficult to come by for clubs in Manchester. Maybe if they would spend money for world class players, they would get some goals.

Maybe for ManU, but it's clear you didn't watch the City game.

Did you see the one off the post? The one off the crossbar? The two penalties that were denied?

Apparetly Juve's had the same issue this game. Have yet to score a goal, instead a few off the post/crossbar.

We could use some world class strikers too.

Clearly, seeing as they are completely unrelated terms.

Clearly. Have you seen Uniteds lineup? It's pathetic.

Clearly after spending 125m you would assume their lineup would be better then Milan. After all MK Dons are far better then Lazio.

    I laughed.

But seriously, for all that talent their squad is horrifically unbalanced and the central defense is alarmingly mediocre. They may have too much talent not to make into the top four, but clearly Woodward has no idea how to build a squad.

He's like Secco but with more money.

Falcao has an unusual mission in life as a soccer player: to be one of the sport's highest-paid without playing in the Champions League. He has been shrewdly successful at this so far, and going to Man U may ensure that he can continue his streak for several more years!

Whenever you feel irked by Juve's transfer dealings and failure to get a "World class striker", think about the fact that Real Madrid, with the ability to buy any player it wants in every single transfer window, somehow still goes into a crucial rivalry match starting Benzema at striker and bringing on Chicharito to replace him. As a Sampdoria fan, I might consider that an acceptable strikeforce for my team. For Real to be in that situation just boggles the mind. They finally woke up and got rid of Higuain, but how Benzema has kept his job all these years is an absolute mystery of the universe. In the mean time Falcao and Suarez have both been on the market TWICE.

It even looks as if he's trying to open his mouth but his jaw is wired shut. Would be an appropriate move for Barca to protect their investment with an insurance move like that.
