FIGC is the governing body of the sport. Serie A is one of its member leagues. Similar to USSF and MLS.
I don't understand how they can be happy with the way that Serie A has been run in recent years. We've been in steady decline since the early 2000s.
Bonucci making good on his promise to buy the team dinner Bonucci: Cena pagata!!! E ora più carichi di prima verso i 3 obiettivi stagionali!!! #cenabianconera Buonanotte a tutti!! #finoallafine
That's a great way to lose your life savings. A friend of my cousin in Italy was playing in the Serie B and he had nothing left in his bank account as he kept paying "le cenette" for all his friends and teammates. I think he has a financial advisor now but not before he lost it all.....
It was done because Bonucci made a promise after the bust up with Allegri, its his way of smoothing things over
Yes I know. I hope he learned his lesson because if he hadn't, it could turn into quite an expensive proposition.
You call over earning a salary of 900k Euros or $948, 800 USD scraping for a kid who is 21/22 years old? Very few people if any in Italy make that amount of money in a lifetime.
So, even though it's with the Azzurri, I just have to fangirl about Gigi's 1000th professional appearance. Is there even a question that he was/is Moggi's greatest transfer? I remember how so many people questioned paying a record fee for a goalkeeper at the time, but seriously what he's given to this club makes that price tag look like pennies. Staying with us when we were relegated, when he could have literally walked into any club side with the exception of maybe Real Madrid (at that time), and especially after the fantastic WC he'd had that summer... you can't put a price on that. We'll all remember the players who stayed loyal to us, but the likes of Ale, Neddy, and Camo weren't at the very pinnacle of their careers anymore then, not like Gigi was. I think it will only be after he retires that Juve fans will realize just how lucky we were to have such a world class keeper for so many years. How many problems we were able to avoid during such a problematic time because we never had to worry about our keeper (because look at what mediocre goal tending has cost, say, Arsenal, over the years). This may seem like sacrilege to some, but I'll be far more upset when Gigi retires than I was when Alex left the club. Truly, the greatest player I have had the pleasure to watch since I started watching football.
I agree with your sentiments @scirea6, but Alex is and will always be my favorite player so I'm a little biased on that side. Losing Gigi will most definitely have a bigger impact than anything this club has faced over the years, but it still won't hit me personally as hard as seeing ADP play his last match with us. But yes, Gigi is by far the best transfer this club has probably ever made
Agreed with Scirea, but my top five favorites are: 1. Baggio 2. Buffon 3. Del Piero 4. Nedved 5. Pirlo
Anyone know where you can find a list of all the players owned by Juve including all the ones out on loan?
The Juventus Pass service will stream every Serie A, CI and CL match after midnight on day they're played
