"Non-existent" is a false description. Vako created numerous chances, but failed to make the proper final pass on multiple occasions.

IMHO, a million dollar DP forward needs to score or create real chances and failing to execute or failing to make a final pass is simply not good enough!

Did anyone see wayne rooney's game winning tackle at the end of the DCU game today? Old slow broken down rooney, who has played in far bigger matches for far bigger clubs, running full speed at the end of the game to make a game saving tackle and deliver the game winning assist. Can anyone imagine Vako, a guy who is supposed to be in his physical prime at age 25, doing something like that?

    that was impressive...

what wasn't so impressive were the number of empty seats at their new stadium....they must have a outside bar.....;)

Either that or those seats were condemned due to falling railings. :)

I can’t imagine anyone on the Quakes even trying to do that, except Quincy. Oh, wait...

I can actually imagine Vako running back to make the defensive play, I just can't imagine him passing the ball to a teammate after he recovered it.:p

More concerning to me was Vako brushing off Flo at the substitution. I didn't like that.

I've been told that players don't have to act like adults when they leave the field, because they're pros. Or some such.

It's all just part and parcel of a team coming apart at the seams. I do not blame the players, rather I blame the coach.

Actually, I can't imagine Vako running anyone down. He only seems to be good at staying in front of someone who is chasing him.

Vako netted two goals for Georgia today in their 3-0 win vs Andorra in the UEFA Nations League competition.

Vako's Georgia national team beat Kazakhstan 2-1 in UEFA Nations League competition, with Vako getting the assist on the game winner by Gent's 19 year old Giorgi Chakvetadze. Chakvetadze (who I mentioned a few weeks back) is now being pursued by Barcelona, Tottenham, and Bournemouth. Georgia easily won their group.

he seems to be having far more success with Georgia, maybe the comforts and familiarity of home?

Consistency? He’s about to play for his fifth coach in less than 2 years in San Jose.
