Hmm. This thread has gone deader than our qualification chances.

Anyway, to sum it up quickly, since April:

-T&T's football looks better offensively under Latapy, but we are still leaking goals.

-We lost 2-3 to Costa Rica at home and 1-2 to Mexico in the Azteca.

    - Since then we have played exactly 1 warm up - against St Kitts and Nevis, winning after a hard fought 3-2.

    Developments
    - Jason Scotland has been signed with Wigan to the EPL
    - Chris Birchall now plays for the LA Galaxy
    - Cornell Glenn is playing for the SJ Earthquakes
    - Stern John has signed a new contract with championship side Crystal Palace
    - Marvin Andrews has made a shock return to the SPL with Hamilton
    - Avery John is back in the MLS playing with DC United
    - Julius James is now a regular starter in the Houston Dynamo
    - Hadyn Tinto seems to have broken into the senior team, after his encouraging performances in the last two matches and historic goal in the Azteca.
    - Coach Russell Latapy is playing with local side Caledonia AIA (don't ask)
    - Dwight Yorke was released from Sunderland and doesn't seem to be training seriously

On August 12, last chance qualifier at home to El Salvador.
Win it and we can maintain the illusion of a rearguard run to the fourth spot. Anything else and we may as well concentrate on the U20's

That's harsh on Jlloyd I think, from what I understand he has a Trinidad flag hanging above his bed and was actually born there.

Don't get me wrong got no problem with either of them playing for us, if they want to, especially Jlloyd, just noticed midknight neglected to mention them. I kinda like that. All we're hearing about is Alvarez. Lets keep our new additions low key.

I hadn't heard anything new about them for a while, so I preferred to not mention it. It seems confirmed, now though. I have mixed feelings, but we'll see how it plays out. After all they are joinng us at our lowest point, not our highest.

Are there any Trinidad and Tobago supporters in the Philadelphia area? In particular, I'm wondering if there is an organized group of Trinidad and Tobago supporters or if there's a place where you gather to watch national team games. I want to help Philadelphia Union supporters who also support Trinidad and Tobago to connect with each other. If you know of any organizations or bars or people I could contact, please send me a private message. Thanks!

Radanfah Abu Bakr, any good? Seems like he's a regular for the national team which is good news, hasn't got anywhere near our side since being here though (not even been on the bench yet, despite our huge injury problems), so I'm not really sure why we've bothered signing him for three months. Has played in one reserve game and did quite well apparently.
