I'll really miss Corrales. What a career to be proud of!

Curious why he didn't play a bit more this season. Yeah I know he's past his sell-by date. But still surprised after starting 10 games early in the season we haven't seen him in ages, right? Is he hurt?

He started games earlier in the season because we had players out injured, and never re-signed Dawkins.

He will probably start and captain the Quakes in his last game against Dallas.

I have a feeling he will probably coachthe Quakes PDL team.

The recent MLS article on Ramiro says that he's having back problems, and he says it's his body telling him it's time to hang up the boots. There is also a quote from Doyle where he said he thought Rams was the Quakes best player thru the 1st 5 games or so this year. Could be - it was a pretty low bar :).

This rarely happens, but on this I agree with JD! RC was the best quake in the beginning of the season.

Oh and JJ, we started 2-1-1 if I remember correctly; we weren't horrible until after the first 5 or so.

Even though JD is trying to give him credit and save face, Ramiro probably was the best player at the beginning of the season. Considering everyone else played horribly, with his experience, he should have been and didn't have much room or time not to be.

Fair point, but I think they went 2-2-1, (w-l-t) and the win at home against NY was incredible lucky IIRC. Maybe they hadn't quite reached the level of "horrible", but they were on their way :--).

Love these infographics things - you can learn a lot quickly - and are a lot more fun to look at than blobs of text.

Having all the starting 11 wear different Corrales shirts for the walk out was a touch of brilliance!

Agreed, and Wondo looks great in that Clash jersey. Also cool to have the Corrales mini-me's out there as well as the mini-Muma.

In the picture above Walmart is either showing Ramiro's number or he doesn't believe the scoreboard is working.

    Ramiro,
From a long time EarthQuakes fan...thank you for serving the team in such a great way. You'll always hold a special place for me as a fan of the Quakes. Best of luck, hope you stay 'close' to home and continue to help keep the Quakes the best team in MLS. Thanks for the serving the best team ever, our SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!

Actually, I was solely responding to the previous poster as he addressed me in my native tongue.
