Beautiful wife. Id hand in my players card right now if I ran across a Korean American dime piece like that. if our dude has any kind of fire in him, he is going to get bored living like he is 50 years old though. He is waaaaaaay too young to sit back and relax. He is a world class crazy competitor. I wonder what he is going to do next.
didnt kyoto purple sanga chair tell him that he can come back even with a busted knee? hmm.. rest that knee for a year and i guess we will see what happens.
I'm talking about competing in arenas outside of soccer. Kyoto rising sun garbage is way below him. No way. Take some time off. Enjoy wife time. Reflect. Plan. Onto the next one. I'd honestly be let down if he didn't capitalize on what he has built to date on a global scale.
Why would he come back from retirement/new marriage to play for Kyoto of all clubs with a busted knee? It's not as if he's in need of funds or anything. We all need to let the man go.
Wasn't he offered an ambassador role with Manchester United? Not sure what sort of time commitment that entails. Never got the feeling he was ever really comfortable being in the spotlight. Seeing how he's already ruled out a career in management, wouldn't be surprised if he's simply content on living a quiet life of retirement. If the reports of him continuing to live in Europe are true (forgot which poster mentioned this), he probably wants to live a life in some semblance of normalcy. Park doesn't strike me as the Beckham-type to focus on building an empire after he's hung up his boots.

dude, this is probably one of the few players korea produced who really don care about money as much as his fanaticism about soccer. he is known to say stuff like, "축구할때도 축구하고싶다.". or saying how if he was never a pro soccer player, he would be a school gym teacher coaching soccer. his been watching ryan giggs stretch out his career. the issue is that his knee no longer makes him great. but sooner or later he will get tired of making appearances on Running Man. like hong myung bo or bekham before him, theres always MLS. but the real point of all this is... I WILL NEVER LET HIM GO!!, HiS MiNe I TeLl You! my precioussssssss.
The part when Kwangsoo soaked himself pouring water from his right to left hand had me on the floor. Haha.
You know that saying about not knowing what you (truly) have until it's gone? God, I miss Captain Park.

After this WC I realized why I started watching football and that was because of PJS. Waiting for another player to revive that excitement I had following his career. It was Jeremy Lin for a time but that died when he went to Houston.
