Another thing that jumped at me...this being the first full game I have seen, is how much more physically powerful the nadettes are. Is this always the case or are the Dutch women a bit weak?
The Dutch had to play their matches during the heat of the day (37 Celcius) going into the Final, had a extra time against the Swedes in the semi and had a day less to recouver. It was already said by for instance Solo that it would bite the Dutch.

I don't think any other team was helped by VAR as much as the nadettes this tournament. Other than that it was an entartaining WWC for the most part
Yup, VAR was a joke. This WWC should have an asterisk next to it. If Ellen White’s goals had been pulled back, she would’ve won the Golden Boot. All of Rapinoe’s goals were PKs except for one. What an underwhelming end to a decent tournament. I’m done with women’s soccer.
This WWC was much more entertaining than the last one. Definitely a lot more upsets and surprises. Wish I had more time to watch it all I’m hoping to see what Mexico does now that they are more mature in the Olympic qualification next spring. Hopefully missing this WWC will lit a fire on their asses.
Yeah I'm hoping these other countries can keep improving and in 4 years someone can challenge and dethrone the nadettes. The new rules and VAR definitely decided too many close games.
