Only mild rumblings of potential #MNUFC action during the half-day trade window so far. A reminder – the Loons made just one deal during last year's melee, sending a 4th round pick to Atlanta for Harrison Heath.— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) December 9, 2018
#MNUFC leave Eric Miller, Wyatt Omsberg and Carter Manley unprotected for the #MLS expansion draft. Only one could be selected by #FCCincy should they pick from the Loons.— Northland Soccer Journal (@NorthlandSoccer) December 10, 2018
Worth noting – since #FCCincy brought along Forrest Lasso, Blake Smith, and Justin Hoyte from the USL, #MNUFC could be assuming they'll look elsewhere for defensive help.— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) December 10, 2018

The team needs midfield help, and he’s a young domestic playmaker on a team-friendly deal. https://t.co/rv1m5Kp6jg— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) December 11, 2018

Maybe for next year's Waiver Draft, the club can have a little fun and select a season ticket holder, fly them and a friend to wherever the draft is, and empower them to walk up to the microphone and say "pass' for how ever many rounds the draft takes...
Rumor: https://www.independent.ie/sport/so...ck-rovers-teenager-aaron-bolger-37635961.html It's also understood that MLS side Minnesota United have been alerted to the promise of left full Darragh Leahy. The Dubliner has signed up with the Gypsies for 2019 and it's thought that the ex-Coventry player has ambitions of returning to England. But the American side have received positive word about the 20-year-old and are doing their research. Leahy is a certainty to be drafted into the Ireland U-21 squad under new boss Stephen Kenny.

Article on Gregus frpm S'Trib. http://www.startribune.com/minnesot...-gregus-as-third-designated-player/503264652/
The Danish media are writing that MLS are paying $3 million for Jan Gregus ... to be honest, he has not been a regular starter for FC København, though he did play WC-18 qualifiers for Slovakia, which I guess is why they are paying that much for him ... https://www.transfermarkt.com/jan-g.../112317/saison/2018/wettbewerb/DK1/verein/190 ... but then Fanendo Adi also was no success at FCK before moving to Portland Timbers and that move went quite well ... the FCK squad consists of around 23 players of which 18 would be considered to be designated players in an MLS context, both considering their wages and NT experience, so I would not worry too much about him not having been a regular starter for them ... Gregus has kind of been 2nd and 3rd choice as defensive midfielder at FCK behind the highly experienced Danish international William Kvist (who is about to retire) and now Zeca who is also their captain and was a regular starter for Greece in the WC-18 qualifiers and play-off's.
