CR always ride on his team great performance, not the other way around. In 2008 semifinal and final he missed his penalies , against Barcelona and Chelsea. In 2014 CL final, his team conceided first and then his teammates scored 3 times , all he did was scoring a meaningless penalty . which he celebrated as he just scored winning hattrick . He had no hand on RM first 3 goals. When Portugal reached semifinal in 2006, CR scored just once. He didnt even play in 2016 Euro final, and the only highlight would be those 2 goals against Hungary.
