They did, he turned it down, despite Pep trying hard to convince him to stay, pep himself said so in a interview.

Very good showing by him today, was named MOTM. He displayed his immense potential for all to see, great close control, quick feet and intelligent, all that was missing was a goal.

    Great performance.

Remains to see if Brahim will get enough playing time next season.

Real Madrid have too many attackers and there will be more this summer.

Guys like Brahim needs consistent playing time to get development.

Incredible that these young guys who are not even 20 years old yet - Brahim and Vinicious - outperform the two established forwards who we started the season with.. Bale and Asensio.

Did Brahim giving up possession to Getafe in that sequence?

And it seems Zizou rates him too. Good, cuz he was good defensively too, no need for Lucas V anymore.

He's going to be loaned out and i think that's best for him right now.

I have a feeling ZZ might keep him like he did with Asensio in 2016. Honestly wish ZZ would sell Lucas as I am tired of seeing him start at RM this season when he has regressed from above average winger to consistently mediocre.

Lucas is a turnover machine who moans and dives after losing the ball. Has the footballing IQ of a damn cone.

Yea. I hate that he goes down so easily and refs doesn't buy it 99/100 times either. And he makes dumb decisions in transition. Like slowed down the counter yesterday when he had space and then dived in the box. Is it that hard to find a player who can work hard on both ends but has RM quality? Brahim did that yesterday and so would most young players who are hungry to prove at RM. Lucas was a good contributer from the bench for a few years, but he has overstayed at RM and been overused. I want to see top talents getting minutes at RM now. Lucas is uninspiring.

What I noticed about Brahim that I liked the most against Getafe was the fact he seemed to be taking the responsibility for getting our attack going (along with Benz).

This is exactly the attitude that's been lacking from guys like Isco, Asensio and Bale. When things are not working well, they tend to "hide". With great talent + ambition...he could become special.

A lot of our other guys have the talent but have been hiding lately... That's why Vinicius stood out straight away... the kid WENT FOR IT every chance he got! That attitude is infectious.

I highlighted this is Rodrygo's thread.

Rodrygo just doesn't force the issue. He accepts the situations and rides the wave. He needs to learn to take matters into his own hands, seek the ball and seek to be the catalyst like Vinicius.

A loan deal for him makes sense, at his age he needs to play a significant amount of games per season.

For me, he doesn't need a year Espanyol or some. Even tho he's been here just for a couple of months, ignored by Solari, he's obviously talented. I still dont know wether he is left or right footed. I think the right side suits him the best.

If we stick with the 433, Hazard, VJR, Brahim X(might be Rodrygo, depends what our plans are with him), Jovic & Benzema is a really dangerous forward line. Even variations of 442 or 4222 are possible, Brahim possesses playmaking skills.

I am done with Asensio and Lucas V tbh. Mariano has been unlucky this season with injuries, but showed in this game more than them both combined this season.

The only way i see him staying is with Asensio and Lucas leaving. I doubt that will happen.
