How good do you think he is better compared TO Konno, Yoshida and Morishige? You think he should get a call-up for the friendlies in March and May?
I think the kid has good potential and definitely needs some work on decision making. I would give him another chance, he didn't take it for the Asian Cup, but I would offer him a new one. Dont expect to see him playing for JNT till after WC though. Defenders will be the last to be replaced or tested around for WC. It's a fragile position, both players need to be really synchronized and understand eachother. So Yoshida and Konno is what we will see unless an injury comes. Morishige being that second option. I also believe that we ll see marinos man back in the sqquad if one of these 3 get injured. Inoha is there because he can be used as a replacement for everything I guess. I personally however aint a fan of him
They finished second behind São Paulo because of goals scored, but they have a great chance of advancing. Brazilian media is praising the "reysolzinho" a lot. Everyone is impressed.
Kashiwa Reysol must be a pretty well known name in Brazil now with CWC, Nelsinho, Jorge Wagner and Leandro Domingues. I hope the Brazilian connection persists in the J-League - it's a unique and valuable part of the footballing culture in Japan.
Yay, they made it Brazilian press is calling Reysolzinho "the japanese Barcelona" http://globotv.globo.com/rede-globo...-e-kashiwa-se-classificam-na-copinha/3069655/ http://globotv.globo.com/globocom/g...shiwa-encanta-brasileiros-na-copinha/3069327/ http://globoesporte.globo.com/futeb...japones-kashiwa-vira-sensacao-na-copinha.html
I love how anything related to Japan is accompanied by "ethnic" music on Brazilian TV. That would not fly over here...
Too bad the average Brazilian supporter can't tell the difference between Kashiwa and Kashima. But I am happy that everyone is impressed with the way they play and changing their bias towards Japanese football.
With today's results, Kashiwa qualified as the second best group runner-up and will face Santos next round. From the 104 teams in group stage, 32 remain and there will be knock-out matches from now on. Santos is the current Brazilian Cup champions and arguably the best youth team in the country. This could be the final as Reysol is playing really good too...

Half time Barcelona 0-2 kashiwa http://firstrownow.eu/watch/232727/1/watch-fc-barcelona-vs-kashiwa-reysol,-youth.html
apparently Reysol played well and were mostly countered. which doesn't change a thing but it wasn't too humiliating.
Kashiwa dominated possession but struggled to create chances, while Santos just sat deep and scored from counters and corner kicks. It was far from humiliating despite the result.
