Best would be from now on. Or maybe let him play today and rest him after the Atletico match. Our next opponents are all from the bottom half of the table.
There won't be a winter break this year btw.

Yeah, and January is when we pick up TIM Cup, right? We should be using our depth for those games anyway.

Ninja can play this one and park it. He's a competitor, and he's probably thinking that if he rests he's putting his NT spot in jeopardy, considering how easily Martinez wants to give him the hook, but if he keeps playing two games a week on painkillers, he'll be getting a ticket to snap city shortly.

After today he can take a couple of weeks of and see how he is. He'll be fine.

I'm in no rush to see Karsdorp return to action. It's not like we desperately need his services right now, in the sense that I'm sure we can manage a top 4 finish without his help. Back to training with the squad in 2 weeks? Seems quick I guess but 2 weeks time is nearly March, then maybe another month of training and he might make a matchday squad around late March/early April. But we should be in absolutely no rush with him as long as Flo and Peres are fit.

yea there is no reason to even attempt to bring him back this year. He hasn't played in nearly a year so he's not going to be able to help even if he is healthy. Give him the rest of the year and let him come back healthy and ready to train in the summer.

He's already recovering from this 2nd knee injury and that's worrisome enough. Strootman has never been the same and Florenzi seems to be missing something to.

Roma attacker Cengiz Ünder suffered a knee injury in training yesterday while on national team duty with Turkey.

Early rumors suggested that the youngster may have suffered a torn ACL, however, the agent of the player, Omer Koray Uzun, spoke exclusively to RomaPress to reassure that it is nothing serious: “Cengiz’s injury is not serious, but we will know more tomorrow.”

Can we please get through this international break without any serious injuries, or is that too much to ask?

Geez, was I wrong about him. While I thought we paid too much for him but I thought he could be a good player for us. I suppose playing out of position hasn't helped but he just has not played well at Roma

    Why no 18/19 injury thread??

Anyway Karsdorp out for a few weeks. God damn shame that boy is a sicknote. I think there's a very good player waiting to emerge there but he cant stay fit. Florenzi is gonna be our only fit RB for a while now with Santon out too.
