How does one have as much ability as he did at the age of 14 and end up having to try out for a umpteenth division team in the f'ing United States at the age of somewhere around 28? The answers to both questions are pretty similar.
You just keep allowing him to do him. That's the answer. At one of these stops along the way, him doing him will fit the club. It might be a U-40 women's team in North Dakota, and he just might have to tuck a little to play, but it will happen.
