And the latest: http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/pilka-no...-trafi-do-sandecji-nowy-sacz-to-wymysl-mediow Freddy Adu will not be in Sandecja Nowy Sącz. "This is a media invention" "He was not with us for tests or anything else, his transfer was not a topic," coach Radoslaw Mroczkowski tells us about the alleged transfer of the former USA representative to Sandecja Nowy Sacz. Mroczkowski could not help laughing when we asked him about the chance to get Adu. The midfielder was recognized in the past as the greatest talent in the world. He made his debut with the main National Team at the age of 16. After the years of greatness, however, he failed to thrive. Today he is more celebrity than a football player. There was no topic of his transfer to Sandecia at this point, Mroczkowski said.
The coach is lying! I read on the internet that Adu had gone for tests but had failed them. Oh, right, it was something a know-it-all blowhard had just made up. My bad.
Many outlets reported that Adu had gone for the medical tests, including media from Poland. He was even reported seen at the club: https://translate.google.com/transl...s-wielki-talent-moze-zagrac-w-polskiej-1.html https://www.dreamteamfc.com/c/freddy-adu-sign-another-new-club/ http://www.thesportbible.com/other/...y-adu-set-for-his-worst-transfer-yet-20170228 Etc. My money is on the coach lying, actually.
Oil money, not bad. The owner is the (in)famous Arifin Panigoro. He and his family, through Medco and PTAMI own a good chunk of Indonesia's oil, gold & copper exports. Guy could probably buy Messi & CR together, too.
I actually played against this club' s youth teams quite a few time as a kid. Which makes me wonder if Freddy had played with this club his entire career whether we would have ever played agains each other.... In 1990
He's suggesting that maybe the reason for Feddy Adu becoming a washout is that he suffered/suffer from a rare muscle disorder called myopathy, which causes fatigue and weight gain. Therefore, his love of nightlife, 3-chick picks, shopping and dislike of tactical discipline and training had nothing to do with it.
Dang poor Götze. Just like "neuralgia" is one of those blanket terms that means "a nerve hurts and let's pray it stops hurting," a miopathy is unlikely to ever be resolved. It just means "his muscles have gone weak, man." It's likely curtains for him as a top player.
I suppose he can be/ should be thankful for this "small" favor: it's a myopathy that ends [perhaps] a career...as opposed to those horror shows that killed Lou Gehrig and Walter Payton....
Probably not an either/or situation (ie hookah). But to hire multiple personal trainers and still be unable to get in shape is odd. People said Gotze was slacking in training as well. Were he not at such a big club it likely never would have been diagnosed. No shortage of athletes who partake in night life to some extent, but I've never seen someone who was slower as an 18 year old than they were at 14 (all this while still being pro/training/running every day). Wouldn't be surprised if there was something medical. Or it could just all be slacking/burn out/depression/lack of seriousness, probably more likely, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was something else too.
