So, in other words, RSL still may not have it's issues fixed by Saturday.

    Good...good. :)

So, in other words, MU might only give up 4 goals this game.:p

We move Demidov to the bench that's two less goals right there. :)

From a FB post, it's apparently going to be Mike Petke.

    Good for him.

Great news for RSL. I thought Minnesota stood somewhat of a chance this week, but Petke will most definitely out coach Heath.

Would still be better than the ex-Rapid that took charge at Colorado in my opinion. :)

Happy for Petke - I find him an easy guy to root for. His sideline presence and passion will be a complete 180 from Cassar.

We'll never know but I wonder how open the search was. I thought at the time that they didn't just go ahead and appoint Petke because they didn't want to be accused of undermine Cassar by having Petke in the wings. Any word on how seriously other candidates were interviewed?

I'm happy for Petke, he did get a bum deal from the Red Bulls. I'll always remember him benching Henry for behavior issues, took guts to bench a DP back then.

So you're saying Petke is a human who is alive?

(plenty of animals and dead people could have out-coached Jeff Cassar)

Word is they'll still be coached by the interim guy this weekend vs Minnesota, with Petke taking over afterwards...

This is correct. Petke said in his press conference on Wednesday that he didn't want to step in mid-game preparation and will let Daryl Shore continue to run the show for this weekend's game. Which, on one hand I respect, and on the other confuses the living hell out of me.

I'm not sure why? He hasn't scouted the opponent and would have only a couple days with the team. What's your thinking!
