Thanks to this ESPN+ deal I will be following Eredivise and since critical supporters are being purged will be saving my STH $ in 2019 for my Vibroverb clone project. Thanks Nelson!
Chicago USL can't come fast enough. Until then, it's my son's team, and non-cable coverage of ANYTHING other than "Andi's Kids". CL and select European league matches at my local pub. Fcuk you Hauptman, and your minions.
UEFA Nations League Nonsense. Bulgaria v. Norway Why? 1) I have not watched any soccer in a couple of weeks (thanks, Chicago Fire! Arguably, I could say that I have not watched soccer for months- thanks, Chicago Fire!). 2) It's on ESPNews. I just spent a couple of hours cutting wood with my new chainsaw and mowing the grass. I need to a few minutes to sit and just not give a crap. And if there are two teams that I can "just not give a crap" about, it would be Norway and Bulgaria. I really liked the 1994 Bulgaria team. Hristo Letchkov Balakov Iordanov Ivanov Those guys were great. Now, who cares?
Exactly what soccer or Futbol is being discussed here? Certainly not "football" of the Ursidae kind, I hope, where only one player uses his feet. Take that shit to the Bears/NFL pointyball thread...that does not exist.
Leeds vs Brentford replay. Most exciting league on display. Former fire player Jack Harrison playing.
Something something something crap shoot something something something process something something something.

This is an excellent explanation, and a much better one than the Fire Front Office offered. I think you for writing it then and posting it now. The problem is that much of it is simply not the case. He was injured at the beginning of the 2016 season, but still managed to appear in 21 games, score 4 goals and collect 7 assists (more than any Fire player in 2016 other than Alvarez). His first game was in May (not exactly "mid-season"). He played every game but one in 2017. Harry Shipp was gone on February 13, 2016, less than a month after the draft. I think it can be safe to say that "we still had Harry Shipp, so that position looked filled" was not the important part, the "until around February" was. The Fire must have been planning to let Shipp sail away from the Fire before the draft. That being said, IF it is true that Jack Harrison would NOT play for the Fire, then drafting him and trading him was a good move, from a business perspective. Edit: ..and this. That being said, it was a very good posting and, Jiggs, I wish you go back to writing posts. They were certainly more insightful than what we normally read from the Fire or HTIOT (or whatever the acronym is).
That’s one thing I can’t really argue against. Although, for some reason league analysts think he’s amazing.
