There was literally someone on Twitter earlier this morning complaining that the "disabled" get "free tickets, close seats, etc". As if it was some sort of privilege to have CP or a lost limb. Unreal.
As I maintained at the time this was first mooted I fundamally disagree with the enforced required on established and particularly old venues.
Glad to see the club being very proactive in that department. It definitely would be much better if there is a little more accommodations for disabled people than actually needed, rather than being in a situation where there aren't nearly enough. There's no question about this.
2600 season ticket holders displaced at cost to the club, the overall capacity reduced by 2335 seats and unnessescary disruption and expense. All for 300 disabled seats. Not for me.
Yeah. Cause we're really pressed for money. And let's be real, they will upgrade OT within the next decade to get back to same capacity if not higher.
Not sure how reliable is this information. MANCHESTER UNITED are plotting to increase the capacity of their Old Trafford home by a further 12,000, according to reports http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/581692/Old-Trafford-expansion-Manchester-United-news
There's a picture of a new updated badge going around Twitter today, which has us back to the Manchester United Football Club badge. Doesn't look real, although I wouldn't mind.

Some trainings the insights, courtesy of Jesse Lingard: - Bailly is the one who tackles the most and the hardest. - Pogba is the nutmeg king. Just loves doing it every time he can. - Zlatan scores the nicest goals and is the worst loser after training games. He'll complain all day if he finds himself on the losing end. - Rashford is te quickest guy on the team, hands down. - Herrera is probably of the hardest workers on the team, in terms of training. - Valencia is the guy who just can't stop running. - Rooney hits the best Pks: works on them almost every day. - Miki is the always the first guy there. Been that way since day one.

United become the first big UK club to back the Stonewall LGBT charity. http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-F...-officially-to-support-Stonewall-charity.aspx Solid move, though I'm sure Teso and his puppet feel differently.
Watched an excellent documentary on Netflix last night on the French national team in the last 20yrs and the links to social and political effects and ramications on French society. Interesting to note the direct correlation of some issues currently at the forefront of US society as well, most notably immigration, terrorism and "nationalistic" sentiments among a growing sector of the general population.
i miss the navigation bar at the bottom but they do have the arrows to jump to the top. not a fan of this blocky, tablet app style look that every site seems to be converging to. strikes me as a lack of creativity and design
