wow. that is EXACTLY the kind of press we need to get on the national scale. im telling you, if we got this and more on not just the mlsnet site but other (bigger)sites and maybe stations this thing would just explode. i hope this grows out of control like nobody expected the people of salt lake and utah just go nuts over the team. i want the sell out the stadium every night. i know its probably not going to happen, but hey i cant dream if i want.
Wouldn't it be nice if they opened up the additional seats and they sold out too for a 45K crowd? I dream perhaps..
I don't know what the 'soccer capacity' is, but the quote in one of the local papers for attendance expectation was 25,000. I secretly suspect that figure is a little conservative, so that it their actual crowd will be a bigger surprise (underpromise/overdeliver), but we shall see. . .
