It doesn't take a ton of brain matter to see what at least half of the other teams are doing successfully already :) But good on them for taking the extra step - now lets see how many years go by before they drastically cut the staff and coaches that build it like they did with the academy.

The agreement with Richmond really helped the kickers in some ways. Not always on the field, but a bit in the stands. I know a bunch of guys who started going to kickers games because of the loaners. I was one of them. It was a nice $40 season ticket. I know we weren't alone. Combined with adding alcohol sales they have transformed the game day experience.

I am happy DC will be adding U2, but I will personally miss the agreement with Richmond. It was good while it lasted.

The agreement made hating Richmond a little more difficult.

That's a pretty good group - maybe the best we've sent, for all its youth.

All the winning. Too much winning. So much winning they'll start to count backwards and look like less winning.

was not quite sure where to put this (so mods please feel free to move it if you'd like)...so my apologies for that and for also not noticing this a bit earlier:

a USL team is possibly back in the news...

    https://www.theburn.com/2018/05/07/major-league-soccer-applies-loudoun-united-trademark/

deal also calls for a 5,000-seat stadium and training facilities to be built at Philip A. Bolen Memorial Park in Leesburg off Sycolin Road. Rezoning for the stadium is already underway with a target of 2019 for Loudoun United games to start.
