We dont have the personnel to do this currently, City's entire midfield could drive play and are very creative, we have Kroos lol
and yet they keep getting outscored in CL by comparable teams. Napoli .. Juve ..Bayern, Atletico.. would not have problems beating a team like Watford.
Agree, but he would have bought his needed personnel in the summer. Imagine how some of our players would excel in that kind of system (Modric, Isco, Hazard, Benz, Brahim, Rodrygo etc) He’d bring Ødegaard back and turn him into a CM.
Who doesn’t get outscored? Barca, Real, Liverpool, Bayern, PSG, etc. On the other hand he completely dominates the BPL. I remember when BPL fanboys said that what occurred between 2008 - 2012 in Liga (Madrid, Barca trashing opponents 5/6-0, ending with almost 100 points) could never happen in BPL because the competition was too “tough”, lmao
Yep Kubo and Ceballos as well. Hopefully Zidane can get his head out his ass and realize that some of the guys he keeps relying on are finished and embrace a new era.
Dominate is winning the league by one point now that there is a team with a comparable squad capable of challenging for the title?
I love how City's full back just whip low crosses in and more importantly how there are players are actually in the box to meet said crosses.
A player Guardiola calls one of the best he's ever worked with "lol" Likewise Kroos calls Guardiola the best coach he's ever worked with.
Kroos has always been one of the players Pep adored at Bayern, Drouchk probably doesn't even know he played for pep.
Kroos wouldnt bench any of David Silva, Bernardo Silva or De Bruyne. Currently its not even a contest. LoL i know he played for Pep, wth does that have to do with anything i said though, his level has dropped significantly, you can be delusional about it but it wont change the facts.
Guardiola has Gündogan post career ending injuries looking pretty damn great. The man uses players as chess pieces but if you buy in he can make a decent player look fantastic. Did the same at Bayern where some players bought in and far beyond exceeded their potential. Had Douglas Costa looking like one of the best in the game.
Personally, I think it's money... Plan on a billion invested with annual transfers in the 150mm range. Lol
He also has spent a billion euros in like four years and would never be able to handle no getting his guys. When Pep asks for a player 9 out of 10 times he gets him. You conveniently left that out of course.
He didn't spend a billion in Munich and managed to convincingly introduce his system and have the team be highly competitive.
Honestly ,minus the billion part, thats how a top team should operate, look at how ignoring the market worked for us over the years.
Guardiola is the most amazing coach ever if: - The club is willing to spend BIG - CL is not a priority
