Just to reply about a post you had in the previous thread.
The ballon d'or "france football" came back to the initial system with only journalists involved requesting them to vote for players that won major titles along being impressive individually.
Which means that with this system Cr7 and Messi shouldn't have won the ballon d'or 2013 (ribery) and 2010 (snejder)

Messi still comprehensively led journalists vote too in 2011-12 despite only winning CDR though. Though it was the calendar year that he broke goals record. Salah hasn't had same hype as last season as his scoring came down a level. Messi will definitely have the edge in FIFA's best even if he doesn't win CL and BDR could depend on his competition.

Like VVD and Salah might not get the hype if they win CL alone and City wins PL. Just like Gerrard didn't win with the original format in 2005. It was Dinho who won BDR as well as WPOTY for winning La Liga alone. Lampard came second and Gerrard 3rd in BDR. Also since Liverpool doesn't have a clear favorite, votes could get split between VVD, Salah and Mane. In terms of individual performance, Messi is having a better season than all other attackers in Europe.

Modric won it because he was a CL winner, WC runner-up, on top of being the best player in the WC, and best midfielder in the world for a couple of years, and still many had doubts whether he'd finally win it... This year's candidates -bar the midget- won't have a fraction of that, he'll win it even if Barca were to get 7up'ed again.

Man United down 0-2 to Everton. They will definitely be missing out on the Champions League

Isn't Soskjaer's record 1 victory in 9 or something like that since he signed a contract?

Ole was signed too prematurely by United. Even worse before the season ended. To be honest maybe Tuchel, Allegri or Jardim as available coaches out there could have been a better appointment.

Time will tell but I don't see it working out. I know the squad is poor but Ole hasn't been so good either. His permanent appointment was a populist move to. Ale fans happy by an incompetent board. Be grateful for a man of reason calling the shots at your great club!

Salah exaggerates as usual, but that's just dumb defending. Deserved penalty, 2-0

Arsenal loses to Crystal Palace. They're terrible on the road and they still have to play Wolves and Leicester away.

It's starting to look more and more like Spurs and Chelsea could make top 4.

Spurs could be wrecked by lack of depth, especially with playing semis in CL. Albeit, their schedule is easier than that of the others. 3 points difference between 4 clubs. Bloodbath.

He is laughing all the way to the bank. Honestly, United is run by cretins.

Just saw the highlights. Arsenal can be shockingly bad at times. Poor man marking and miscommunication in defense. They look set to throw away 4th.

English press outlets having heated discussions about Pogba.

It seems some like Neville want him gone. However, others like Kyle Martino are saying that everybody is hiding behind Pogba. He said players that are not good enough for United, Jones Smalling Mata Herrera Lukaku, are hiding behind Pogba. He said first it was Mourinho and now it's Pogba who everyone wants to throw under the bus.

Shame that Arsenal choked at home and didn't take advantage of Utd loss. Hope City beats Utd next week as well.

man U losing big, 3-0 to barca , then 4-0 to everton is alarming

something is not right at the club..

Mourinho is what was needed but he needed the right players. ( players like lampard, drogba, john terry )... players who can win without playing pretty ball. disciplined team who can strike fear in their opponents

This Man U team is not the same, they would need a pep or klopp

Seeing ManU get crushed is very soothing to my soul. Long may it last.

Dortmund sticking with Bayern for now. Hope they push them until the end.

Would be wild if Chelsea qualify for CL but have their transfer ban appeal rejected. Wouldn't be able to strengthen in the summer.
