It was pretty cool. Nothing posh about us though Sam. We bought it for about $25. And had to do a bit of work just to get it going. We did have a great time with it though.
Orlando's new stadium looks very nice: Amazing work from @OrlandoCitySC, their community, and government officials working together to come up with this gem!!! #MLSisBack pic.twitter.com/w2dYtPs6P8— Taylor Twellman (@TaylorTwellman) March 3, 2017
The new @OrlandoCitySC stadium remembers the nightclub shooting victims. Must see: https://t.co/xZck4tf8oH— Taylor Twellman (@TaylorTwellman) March 5, 2017
NCAA tourney seeding is chaos as always. Terps snag a 6 seed and are the last pair listed on the brackets...heart skipped a beat there. That said we are likely 1 and done - not a strong team.
Absolutely wide open tournament. Probably 17 different teams that, if they get hot, could run off 6 games.
Fraudulent storm here in DC - the 8-12" - turned out to be more like 2-4" and whole bunch of sleet and freezing rain - still taking a snow day regardless.
#FakeNews We didn't get the originally forecast totals but it's still coming down here in Dutchlandia (Lancaster, PA for the uninitiated.)
Around here it's Pennsylvania Dutch. The various Anabaptist groups make up a huge percentage of the Lancaster County population. Throw in a sizable hipster contingent and I came up with the moniker Dutchlandia. I should get it trademarked.
As I expected - Terps got summarily and expectedly bounced in the first round of the tourney. Need a. Ew coach that can coach in game and make adjustments not just recruit.
Between you guys and the Gophers, not a great start for the B1G. Although Northwestern have a chance to advance out of the smartest quadrant in NCAA history (Bucknell, Vandy, Northwestern, Princeton, Notre Dame).
Yep Big 10 was really weak this year and we were certainly overseeded. In years past going 4-7 down the stretch would have been a huge factor in seeding - as in dropping out seed. Minnesota was also overseeded but Wisconsin was under seeded. Let's see if Michigan can keep their dream run going today.
Cool local news on the USL front - a local tv station will be broadcasting ten STLFC games this season on Saturday nights: http://kplr11.com/2017/03/17/kplr-11-to-broadcast-10-saint-louis-fc-soccer-games-in-2017/
The new format is not as mobile friendly as it's predecessor.....it's going to take a while before I get acclimatised fully
