I believe it, aside from Pogba (who WAS in italy) and Verratti (who also was in italy) all his top players are playing in the Serie A
IIRC he was Ibrahimovic's agent and brought him to Juve from Ajax in 2004. Ibra was one of those who didn't have the courage to stay with the club when they were relegated because of the scandal. Don't know how much of a role Raiola had in that decision but some of the big stars sucked it up and played in the 2nd division to get the club right back up.
de Ligt can play on either side in the back line. When he came up he played left as Davidson Sanchez was on the right side.
That's a scary starting XI... God damn... If Sarri can get Dybala & Costa going in the offense, this team can run through Serie A and make a really deep run and possibly win the Champions League.
Pjanic is basically guaranteed a regular starting spot in the Jorginho role. That leaves Rabiot, Ramsey, Matuidi, Khedira, Can and Bentacur all competing for two spots. I don't see how all of the above all coexist in Sarri's system.
I don't see any of them wanting to move though. We also don't know how Sarri wants this team to play so we don't really know how many spots there will be for midfield. The two that were mentioned could be moving on were Khedira and Matuidi and we haven't heard a peep about that in over a month. I don't think they'll be here at the end of the window but you never know. But like I said before, I doubt the club starts to sell until Sarri has evaluated the squad and knows more or less who he wants to keep
The team flies out tomorrow for Asia. We will get some idea who makes the trip. Anyone kept in Torino is on the shopping block. Very little coming from social media about training. Usually we would see video clips of what the team is doing. Is Sarri secretive about his training methods? I have no idea what to expect from this side.
So Benfica have postponed the move for Perin and he will remain here until christmas in recovery (the shoulder was the cause) Same shit that happened with Sturaro
That his shoulder operation has not fully healed could be expected. The idea of the transfer at this point was surprising taking that into consideration. Would Perin have passed a physical at J-Medical?
To be fair it was always going to be impossible to beat this Juventus side, except that one time they pissed the title away when they had the advantage
Benfica passed because they felt the recovery time was too long for Perin, Perin will remain in Portugal for the time being, word is they wanted to get him for cheaper. Talks between Benfica and Juve are still going on. Porto have now expressed interest in Perin.
We can’t afford him, not until Ronaldo retires and Dybala is sold. So probably some rumors for the future if anything.
Higuain should go to Columbus with his brother at least until Christmas. If Juve agree to pay half his salary , he would probably go. Not sure if they can afford him or not but he won’t get anywhere sitting on the bench.
