Part of the deal unfortunately. Ole revealed today that Dalot is currently out with an injury (did not specify its nature). Picked it up in training a couple of weeks ago. As such, he will not be available until after the international break. Reassuring in a way as it explains obviously why he's been out of the mix so far (and not just cast aside). Apart from him (along with Bailly and Timmy who are long term absentees), Ole has a full squad to call upon at this time.
If Martial is injured for an extended period of time, our failures in the market are going to get exposed really quickly.
BREAKING: Man Utd’s Luke Shaw ruled out for a month with a hamstring injury.- talkSPORT sources understand.📻 Tune in → https://t.co/nOCybh8ExD pic.twitter.com/UIiNdihcVG— talkSPORT (@talkSPORT) August 26, 2019 That is 3, possibly 4 games he's expected to miss (Soton-A, Leicester-H, West Ham-A, Arsenal-H)
Laird is out with an ankle injury. Have no idea where Mitchell is (if he's at the club, he's taken no part in any of the U23 games so far, starting or on the bench). No reason to kid yourself, AY will be the guy to replace him...
Shiite Ok it's not so bad. This is a money maker for us. AY is on a pay to play contract. Every time he plays he cuts us a check.
Big if obviously, but if AY can hold up and just be decent defensively next to Maguire, it might not be the worst thing to have AY at LB for a short stint. IMO Shaw has been the weak link so far in our new look backline and he still brings very little offensively in terms of service and end product. AY might be able to provide more from that aspect (particularly vs the likes of Soton and West Ham). We would want Shaw to be ready in time for Arsenal though and hopefully on his best form.
JP back to United for treatment on an injury. https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman....chester-united-for-injury-treatment-1-4991930 He's expected to be back in Scotland after the international break.
Not what we want to see. We better hope it's nothing major and will be good to go after the intl break vs Leicester.. Paul Pogba limping out of St Mary’s after twisting his ankle in #MUFC’s draw with #SaintsFC pic.twitter.com/HxIv7GQza5— Simon Peach (@SimonPeach) August 31, 2019

Wan-Bissaka now had to withdraw from international duty. https://www.skysports.com/football/...ose-manchester-united-defender-through-injury We better hope that this is all precautionary more than anything else. We surely can not afford to lose him, especially with Shaw out on the opposite side.
The latest on United's injuries. https://www.manchestereveningnews.c...ll-news/man-utd-injury-pogba-bissaka-16871583 Looks like we might have caught a break and will be getting everyone that matters for the Leicester. Shaw would be the one I'd be most concerned about (unless his hamstring injury was not as bad as initially revealed).
🏴 @England manager Gareth Southgate confirms @JesseLingard has returned to #MUFC from #ThreeLions duty, due to illness. pic.twitter.com/t5cueMUnHz— Manchester United (@ManUtd) September 7, 2019
Rumor has it Lingard dribbled the whole English team before scoring a goal in training and yelled out, “I’m sick!” So Southgate sent him home. Lol
Dalot went all the way to China to recover from his hip injury. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/49631676 Let's hope he is good to go, as the team can surely use him.
