Well, not exactly. We have a much smaller chance of facing Brazil or Argentina (~9%), and we have a larger chance of facing Mexico (~17%). But we do have a larger chance of facing Ecuador or Paraguay (~14%) than any of the African countries (~12%). A Mexico/Ecuador/Switzerland is decently probable.

Groups such as this: Mexico Switzerland (or any other unseeded UEFA except Serbia) Korea Ecuador (or Paraguay) (roughly 0.347% chance, 1 in 288, for this particular combo) are about 2.8x more likely to happen than groups like this: Brazil (or Argentina) Holland (or any other unseeded UEFA except Serbia) Korea Australia (or any African team) (0.124% chance, 1 in 806 for this particular combo) Now if we put decent parameters around what could be considered a favorable/unfavorable draw, I could figure out what probability we have of getting that.
Apparently Korea was so close to get the top seed... Italy 44, USA 43, Holland 38, Korea 37. If our Fifa ranking was something like Japan's then we could've gotten the top seed, it seems, haha. EDIT: Actually Japan's ranking wouldn't have been enough - more like USA or Portugal's rankings. Haha, well. Maybe next time.
