So Robben turns 33 in January? It's pretty amazing that his prime has extended this far, considering how many injuries he has suffered through, from the start of his career onward.
Maybe it's also because he has missed so many games that his body has not been damaged by lots of ill timed challenges. I think most of his injuries are muscle strains/tears which probably came about because of poor biomechanics.
I'm a bit disappointed at the lack of excitement for this game. When I was growing up, there was a genuine build-up to any Belgium-Netherlands game. Even a friendly. Though I guess it will always have garnered more excitement on our side than on yours.
Its not about this game, its any game involving the netherlands for the recent past and foreseeable future. Belgium possibly rolling us over is just another punch in the face, after a while they dont hurt as much.

Being shit and punching above your weight ... that brings a lot of joy ... for me it's a major reason to support a crappy little club ... maybe for NTs that also rings true ... I wouldn't know because when I grew up Belgium were shit and we hardly ever punched above our weight ... moaning, cynicism and self-deprecating humour can be fun too though. Only Austria v. Hungary and Argentina v. Uruguay have been contested more often than our long-standing tradition of rivalry ... can't recall who said that rivalries are the lifeblood of football ... yet if that's the case, the lack of excitement in one of the most contested derbies doesn't bode well for international football.
