The season TFC has had definitely did not go unnoticed by those giving out the nominations for the end-of-year awards.

There was no doubt that Sebastian Giovinco would be up for MLS MVP.

Greg Vanney made the shortlist for MLS Coach of the Year.

Justin Morrow also made the list of nominees for Defender of the Year.

TFC is also up for the MLS Fair Play Award.

BTW, I can't believe there's a Referee of the Year Award as part of this.

Probably should be some doubt.....of his 3 years this has been his least impactful....it is not even clear to me that he is the team MVP this year.

    As he should be.

Same happens in every sport.....no one gets noticed for defender of the year until they have a break out year offensively.

This is what shocks you? I can't believe that anyone at the league office could observe this season.....have a trophy called "Newcomer of the Year" and not even nominate Victor Vazquez....it is confusing when most people who watch the league would be more inclined to dispense with voting and just hand him the trophy! :) :) ;)
