You are incapable of answering my question.

Congrats on almost managing to post without a gratuitous insult.

The question has been answered by the actions of these men.

Note to you and the NRA: this incident was resolved, without loss of life, by unarmed civilians.

When will you address the issue of multiple shooters in a confined space?

No it hasn't. This was luck, plus Americans. Next time, carnage.
    I did, above.
Unless, of course, by multiple shooters you mean multiple terrorists.

That is pure conjecture on your part. Maybe there would be carnage; maybe there wouldn't.

And in the case I cited in response, the "good guy" admitted he was very lucky not to have shot another "good guy". Really, your rather jaundiced views on this are way too black and white. Situations like this tend to be rather more complex and nuanced than the "more guns" response we see from the NRA.

Thanks for posting without an insult. I guess we can count that as progress.

    And, as I responded:
Do you want me to resume insulting you? It's not hard.

Insults are two goals up over strawmen at present.

It's just a comment. It's not what happened. He would not have even gone there, if unarmed. He did not take his weapon out. It wasn't a multiple shooter incident. What parts of this do you not grasp?

It's irrelevant. That person acknowledged he was "lucky not to shoot a good guy", even though he didn't draw his weapon. He, unlike you, seems to understand the possible dangers of carrying a weapon in such a situation.

Yet, he was actually carrying a firearm! And somehow managed not to produce or use it! And he will continue to carry a firearm! In the real world, anything is "possible". I repeat: your opinion that an armed citizen will invariably increase carnage, rather than prevent or limit it, is wrong.

I've never claimed that an armed civilian will "invariably increase carnage". So that's one goal back for strawmen - just a one goal lead for insults now.

You mention "possible dangers", as if an armed terrorist is less risk than an armed citizen.
    Double it, asshole.

A strawman and an insult all in one post. Well done!

Ok, so "JBigjake" has nothing to contribute except insults and strawmen. How "predictable".

When you try to threadjack, then dodge questions, you deserve what you get.

May Jean-Baptiste Salvaing and Jessica Schneider -the two victims of the abject attack of monday- rest in peace. They leave behind a 3 years old boy who survived the attack. I feel immensely sad for him :(
