So who do you think would be in the team of the tournament? The best 11 from all the participating countries. You can add some subs as well if you want

    Best 11 according to goal.com

GK – Lee Woon-jae (South Korea)
May be getting on a little but was solid as a rock at the back for South Korea.
    DF – Vitaliy Densiov (Uzbekistan)
Can play on the left in midfield or defence and was a sight to behold on his marauding runs forward.
    DF- Oh Beom-seok (South Korea)
Young Pohang Steelers right-back was one of the finds of the competition – solid in defence, good going forward and what an engine!
    DF –Yuji Nakazawa (Japan)
It was no disgrace to be undone by the majestic Malek Maaz in the semi-final, ‘Bomberhead’ was class throughout.
    DF- Jassim Gholam (Iraq)
An absolute rock at the back for the new champions.
    MF – Nashat Akram (Iraq)
Skilful, classy and pulled the strings for Iraq in their march to the final.
    MF - Server Djeparov (Uzbekistan)
A classy, creative midfielder who is bound to go on to bigger things.
    MF – Shunsuke Nakamura (Japan)
Wasn’t at his best in the semi-final defeat but overall, an impressive tournament.
    FW- Malek Maaz (Saudi Arabia)
There were good reports about this guy coming out of Riyadh before the tournament but in the win over Japan, he was a pleasure to watch.
    FW –Yasser Al-Qahtani (Saudi Arabia)
The Sniper confirmed that he is one of the continent’s most feared strikers. Four goals and a number of assists – a great tournament all round.
    FW –Younis Mahound (Iraq)
Simple - his goals fired Iraq towards a historic championship.

Ha Ha Ha! This is the prime joke of stupidity. Most of your Koreans did not play one match! Only good Korean player is Lee Woong Jae! You are the Korean troll with the prime level of suck!

Really what country is Nakazawa? You forget to say Takahara, Endo, etc. Are you being embarassing that your little team did not play with a good result? And maybe Saudi Arabian stars too?

Ha Ha Ha! This is the examples of jokeings? ;)

Don't be so angry, I am teaseing only, we are the friendly nations after WC 02 in a first place.

    Mussav,

I think your best 11 is deserving of praise, but I think a team comprised of your subs would rip through your best 11. Nothing wrong with the players, but I think it's too top heavy.

  12. Who would have thought a former basketball player would become an Asian Cup topscorer. ;) The one and only Younis Mahmoud.

IMO, Schwarzer is getting the shaft here. Now, I know I'm Australian and yes, I am not familar with all the asian keepers out there but Schwarzer was the only man on the Aussie team who played well in all our games and quite frankly, saved our sorry asses from getting eliminated in the group stage.

Just my opinion and something to think about I suppose...

Well my friend officially 3 games is 3 games and 4 games is 4 games.
I don’t know what are you whining about? Noor and Lee have a close record... well a little bit Noor is better if you see the official record.

6 matches 2 goals against (1 by PK)

OT is 30 mins. 3 OT = 1 game. Same time no gols thats what matter. Plus we was man down on Japan 60 mins.

sorry dude Lee Woon Jae WC goalie

Noor aint. Their not even close. Lee Woon Jae held out 60 mins on Japan we was man down.

You can have your opinon but Skysports pick Lee Woon Je as goalie of AC

Official Matches is official matches, 3 games is 3 games and 4 games is 4 games ;)

sorry dude we are talking about this Cup. ;)

I agree with you... Noor Sabri was one of the main reasons to win this Cup, while Lee Woon Jae didn't touch the Asian Cup in his entire life.
