The average salary in the Championship is about 600k Sterling a year, which is a lot less than HSV are paying Boobby. In reality, only the promotion contenders can match that, but those teams can (easily) afford BL2 Golden Boot contenders, which kind of rules Bobby out. Colour me sceptical about Championship interest. In any case would he get a WP?
Yeah, I was thinking 2BL but same financial issues apply for Championship. And, as you mention, a WP probably makes it all moot.
Well, there is the possibility that they play him for the reserves. Then he'll be the highest-paid player to ever play in the RL Nord. Maybe every RL, ever. At least he'll top the rankings at something.
He's in the 20 for tomorrow again... but with a busted finger. 1167782581938597888 is not a valid tweet id Some training video from today. 1167781170827976704 is not a valid tweet id
Not going anywhere for now. 2 in 1 tweet. Bobby Wood also hopes to return to the #USMNT squad: "If I play well with Hamburg, then I will get my chances again. For me it is important now that I concentrate on Hamburg." #HSV— Ronan Murphy (@swearimnotpaul) August 30, 2019
The Wood situation in 3 lines. $3m/year. Of course he wants to stay. $3m/year. 0 goals. Of course they want him to go. $3m/year. 0 goals. Of course nobody else wants him at that salary. It's a stand-off that's been dragging on for 3 years. It will drag on until his contract expires or HSV pay him off.
On the bench. HSV up 2-0 in the 60th: Heute vorerst auf der Bank: #Mickel, #Dudziak, #Papadopoulos, #Wood, #Hunt, #Amaechi, #Wintzheimer, #Jairo, #Vagnoman 🔄#nurderHSV #HSVH96— Hamburger SV (@HSV) September 1, 2019
Ah... I'd say it's certainly better than 0 minutes. But, of course, at some point he needs to score a key goal or 12 to climb back up the ladder.
some German reports that affect 3 American strikers 1-Harnik seems to be leaving Bremen, + for Sargent 2-Harnik seems to be going on loan to HSV, - for Wood, as Harnik has been much more effective at pro level including 1BL. 3-Wintzheimer is going to Bochum on loan which means Nova is unlikely to go there. So Serie B for him seems more likely, seen mention of a 4 year contract for him...... also some trivia, Harnik is born in Hamburg.
