In light of the Financial Planning Software Thread. I am debating on TurboTax vs. TaxCut. I will be purchasing the Premier/Premium version of the software to help manage the ESPP sales and DRIP sales I had this year. I last used TaxCut in 2001, and it was vastly inferior to TurboTax at the time. However, I'm liking the TaxCut price and offers a little bit more than what TurboTax is offering. Anyone have a preference from last year?
I can't say in comparison terms, but I use TaxCut for myself and my tax prep side business for clients and don't have any problems with it. Cut is put out by H&R Bloch. Pretty easy to use. Haven't used Turbo is several years.
