I've been using Tapatalk on my phone. Is there a way to see tweets using the app?I used to be able to click a post and select Web view and it would take me to the browser so I could see the post with the Tweet. It no longer works for me.

I've never been able to see tweets in Tapatalk - I use a browser on my phone to see them.

Did you change a default action?

I just have a browser window logged into Big Soccer for threads that have news etc. - for random tweets I find - the 'Web View' is under the 'More' menu when you tap on a post - that takes me to the thread in a browser.

That happened to me and I hadn't bothered to try fixing it until now, but the default browser action within tapatalk was to open links in tapatalk instead of a browser. If you go to your phone settings for Applications > Default applications > Set as default > Tapatalk > CLEAR DEFAULTS you may be able to clear that up the next time you want to look at something in a browser.

Thanks guys! I've been wondering forever how to get around the "Unsupported video" that started showing for all embedded tweets. Tapping the message, then More, then Web View does the trick!

Sorry that it doesn't seem to work for all of you.

In the past few weeks I've been dogged by alert emails from Tapatalk. Anyone else having the same problem? And figured out how to stop them?

Whenever anyone replies/quotes my post, I get an email like:

    > From: AEAAFC96 (via Tapatalk) [mailto:trending@tapatalk.com]
    > Sent: Tuesday, November 29, 2016 12:35 PM
    > To: xxxxxxxx

    > which post people liked and any responses waiting for you!

My BigSoccer settings have always been for no email notifications, but this is clearly from Tapatalk!

So I went hunting around Tapatalk, and found Me Settings, Push Notifications and made sure that those are all OFF both for Site Specific (Big Soccer) and for General.

Yet I still get them! What is the deal???!

Can you tell your e-mail provider that e-mail from Tapatalk is spam?

Sure I can create a rule that automatically deletes these emails but that only treats the symptom not the cause. ;)

My last stab-in-the-dark idea is to upgrade Tapatalk app to the newest version (I have 6.1.0).
[Edit: just did this. Can someone quote/reply to this post so I can see if problem is gone? Thx!]

Wondering if anybody else has had this same problem recently and if so, did they solve it?

I have not had any issues. That said, as I recall, the Tapatalk notification settings aren't straightforward and some are buried. You might want to double or triple check that it's all turned off.

Already done that. Got the new version now 6.3.5. Not sure yet if the alert emails are gone. But I am sure that this new version has more incipient adds, embedded within the content so you can't scroll without seeing (or accidentally clicking) one of the ads. Boo hiss!

[ Edit: Update: No email alerts in 1-2 hrs and I've had several quotes/replies since then. Hmm, I wonder if upgrading the version did the trick? :) ]
