they used to wear red but because of the failiure of 1986 WCQ, they believes the color was the reason so they changed it to white. but U-23 NT, Youth NT and Women NT still wearing red as home color
red is actually scientifically proven to be the best colour to wear for sports because it gives you an advantage.

Is this true? Red is a passionate color but it also incites your opponent which is not a good thing. Maybe a color that confuses your opponents is the better, something like a camouflage that blends you into the color of the grass or the ad banners of the pitch.
