Well played. I was very impressed with your players' hustle and individual skills. Good luck in the AC.

We must beat Jordan on monday or we are out, honestly I don't have much confidence in beating them.. Hope at least we go full on attack like against UAE in WCQ!

Syria is slightly stronger than Jordan at the moment but a draw is the most likely result.

Syria is out but in my opinion you guys proved that you're no longer a third rated Asian team. I now rank Syria alongside teams like Iraq, Uzbekistan, China, and Bahrain. Keep up the good work and you'll have a real chance to make it to the World Cup in the near future.

What's your take on Valeriu Tita? I thought he did a solid job given the fact that he had one month to put the squad together. He was let down by his defenders in the end, but I thought Syria played well this tournament.

What does the future look like for you guys? Any exciting prospects coming up through the ranks?

I don't think much have changed for Syria, if you look at our previous participation in the AC 1996 we didn't make it out of the group becuase of similar mistakes and results (OG vs Japan when leading 1-0 last 10 mins end up losing 1-2 etc.) same mistakes been made always

Tita is a good coach I think he's the right man to build a new team, but I doubt our FA will renew his contract..

Honestly there are no special players coming up..

Al Jaish only lost 4 games all last season on the way to be crowned champions. This year in 8 games, they have lost 4 already, whats gone wrong?

Their succesfull coach Ayoub Odisho left them in the summer, his countryman Thaer Jassam seems not the right coach, he resigned today.

Same happening now with Al Ittihad, Tita left in December they also lost their last 2 games, Al Sadd will eat them alive :D.
