    Hi there,The Old Hertha!

Well, it stands that he doesn´t want to confirm wether he will play the next game for his team. Everton are very keen in buying him. From what I´ve heard Elm wants to sign the contract. There is just some details in the contract that must be adjusted.

I can tell you that Elm is a fantastic talent. Great vision for the game. And a good passer of the ball. Great shot and freekicks as well.

    16th round results:

    Elfsborg - Djurgården 3-1 (0-1)
    goals: 0-1 (40) Daniel Sjölund (straff), 1-1 (79) Denni Avdic, 2-1 (80) Daniel Nordmark, 3-1 (90) självmål
yellow cards: ELF: -, DIF: Dahlberg, Johannesson, Youssef
    referee: Martin Ingvarsson
    attendance: 10 471
After 40 minutes into the match, Elfsborg had 13-0 in shots against Djurgården. But then suddenly the guests from Stockholm attacked through Hrvoje Milic, who was brought down in the peanalty-area by central defender in Elfsborg, Anders Wikström. Referee Ingvarsson pointed at the eleven meter spot. Sjölund placed the ball nicely behind Ante Covic in goal.
After the halftime break, everyone waited for the Elfsborg team to attack furiously towards the away goal, but actually they didn´t find the same quality in their game as in the first half. But with 10 minutes left to play substitute, Denni Avdic managed to snatch the equalizer. Only 1 minute later youngster Daniel Nordmark, got the ball headed down to him by the first scorer Avdic. Nordmark made no mistake and scored the 2-1 goal. This is not a season to remember in good terms for the Djurgården-fans. 3-1 came as well, through a terrible own goal by Djurgården. It says a lot about their season thus far, indeed.

    Trelleborg - IFK Göteborg 2-1 (0-1)
    goals: 0-1 (2) Gustav Svensson, 1-1 (51) Andreas Drugge, 2-1 (58) Andreas Wihlborg
yellow cards: TFF: Melander, Pode, IFK: G Svensson
    referee: Sven-Martin Åkesson
    attendance: 4 020
The IFK Göteborg side got off to a perfect start away at Trelleborg, when Gustav Svensson happened to be in the right spot in the right time, in the peanalty-area. He mangaed to put the ball high up behind the TFF-keeper after just 1 minute into the game. Goalscoring leader Tobias Hysén assisted the goal. And the same man was having a very active first half as he time after time threatened to score. Had it not been for young Victor Noring in goal, the lead would had been bigger.
In the second half Trelleborg came out to the pitch like an entirely new team, and Drigge scored early on to 1-1, after a misstake in the away defense. The summer-signing, Wihlborg gave his new team the lead to 2-1 just 5 minutes after the first goal. The big, physical attacker Fredrik Jensen was the instigator behind the goal, and had a great second half, just as everyone else in the home-sde for that matter.
IFK Göteborg therefor loose their first spot in the league to Elfsborg, who at the same time wins at home.

    Helsingborg - Gefle 2-0 (1-0)
goals: 1-0 (24) Henrik Larsson, 2-0 (82) Marcus Lantz (straff)
yellow cards: HIF: -, GEF: Westlin
    referee: Daniel Stålhammar
    attendance: 8 428
Helsingborg got off to a slow start. They have been matched hard lately with a tough schedule. Gefle actually managed a couple attacks in the beginning of the match and came close to scoring.
But instead we saw Henrik Larsson score to 1-0 after 24 minutes. After this opening goal, the team from Skåne started playing much more convincing and Marcus Lantz had a thunder of a shot hitting the post.
But Lantz was to get his reward in the scon half though, as he scored on the peanalty....

    Thanks ifkgotet...

We've had a tough transfer season this year again (like last year). I've heard he can play on the right-side of midfield yea? Because we could use a lot of help there because I don't think Osman or Gosling are good enough to play htere.

In Sweden people are wondering why he hasn´t been signed by European clubs earlier as he is just about the biggest talent we´ve got at the moment. He is more talented than Marcus Berg f.ex who went to Hamburg. Or Pontus Wernbloom who went to AZ in Holland.

So if Everton gets him which looks very likely, they are to be congratulated. Yes he is very versetile. You can play him everywhere in the midfield. But off coarse, he is very good offensively. That´s where you should use him foremost. Fantastic freekicks. Brazilian standards when it comes to his shot. As I wrote, great vision for the play...

PSV is very keen to sign Rasmus Elm and Bengtsson. Can you tell something about the last one? I knew he has rejected PSV's first offer, but is he a decent defender? And what are his qualities and weak aspects? Can he play as back?

He is foremost a central defender. But he is not the clumsy type. But he plays with simplicity when needed. Good physique. Good functional technique, but still plays with elegance. Good short-passes. He is reasonably speedy for being a central defender. The only negative can sometimes be his hard challenges. The bloke has temprament you know...But he is young so he can better off that part I guess.

    The 16th round gets complete:

    AIK – Gais 1-0 (0-0)
    goals: 1-0 (64) Nils-Eric Johansson
yellow cards, AIK: Daniel Tjernström, Bojan Djordjic, Gais: Richard Spong
    referee: Michael Lerjeús
    attendance: 16461

Playing AIK at Råsunda isn´t an easy task for the Allsvenskan-teams. After this evenings match against GAIS from Göteborg that still stands as a fact, as three leftfooted players were involved in the only goal of the game. Captain Tjernström passed the ball out to Bojan Djordjic on the left flank, who crossed the ball to Nils-Eric Johansson in the peanalty-area. The central defender makes no mistake and scores through a distinct header.
AIK continues to hang in there amongst the top teams in Allsvenskan.

    Halmstad – Malmö 0-3 (0-0)
    goals: 0-1 (68) Jiloan Hamad, 0-2 (86) Agon Mehmeti, 0-3 (89) Agon Mehmeti
yellow cards, HBK: Emil Salomonsson, Marcus Olsson, MFF: Jasmin Sudic, Rick Kruys
    referee: Martin Hansson
    attendance: 8016

The first half gave us a numerous number of chance from both teams. But it was in the second half when everything was to be decided. Normally Magnus Bahne in goal Mr. Safety himself. But in connection with the first goal he made a terrible mistake which gave youngster Jiloan Hamad the chance to score in an empty net, which he did to 1-0. Agon Mehmeti was substituted into the game and thereafter increased the the goalscoring fabrication with further two goals.
Through their victory, Malmö FF took their first win since the month of May and finally were able to produce some goals at last. Something they haven´t been that good at this season thus far.

    Häcken – Örebro 2-2 (1-0)
    goals: 1-0 (30) John Chibuike, 2-0 (59) Jonas Henriksson, 1-2 (84) Alejandro Bedoya, 2-2 (89) Alejandro Bedoya
yellow cards, BKH: John Chibuike, Peter Nyström, ÖSK: Fredrik Nordback
    referee: Magnus Ahlsén
    attendance: 2406

For long everyone thaught that in form team, Häcken would be able to bring home a three-pointer in the western-suburbs of Gothenburg. John Chibuike and Jonas Henriksson had given them 2-0. But with 15 minutes left of the game, coach Sixten Boström substituted the American, Alejandro Bedya into the game. And he managed to both reduce the score and also equalize, as he became the star of the show. An exciting and offensive minded player, who we might see more of in coming games.

    Örgryte – Hammarby 0-0 (0-0)
    goals: -
yellow cards, ÖIS: -, HAM: Andreas Dahl
    referee: Jonas Eriksson
    attendance: 4683

Before the game the players might have had their minds filled with anxiety, anguish, agony, terror. Hammarby wanted to take revenge for their home-loss to the same team Örgryte, last week. It was Örgryte though having most of the dangerous chances in the match, but attacking-duo Allbäck and Santos wasn´t quite up to the task of scoring at keeper Raami Shaaban. Hammarby´s new Brazilian player Rafael, was substituted into the game in the mid part of the second half, to try to snatch a goal. But Hammarby never really came that close to scoring. Instead the match ended goaless and both the team positions in the Allsvenskan-table stay the same.

    The 17th round started off:

yellow cards, Malmö: Edward Ofere, Gabriel, Ricardinho, Jiloan Hamad. AIK: Jorge Ortiz, Jos Hooiveld, Dulee Johnson.
    referee: Jonas Eriksson
    attendance: 15 485

Malmö FF started off the match in a furious tempo in front of the 15 485 spectators at Swedbank Arena, and created chance after chance. But despite a massive advantage in possesion and shots towards goal the scoreline remained 0-0 to the half-time.
Also after the half-time break the inefficiancy from the Malmö-side continued. Ricky Kruys hit the crossbar, Jiloan Hamad had a fantastic chance to score but stumbled on his own legs. Further on Gabriel had his dangerous header saved by competent Öhrlund in goal and after Daniel Larsson had served Figueiredo a perfect pass, the Brazilian missed the ball somewhat and it went wide of the goal.
Late on Roland Nilsson substituted three players, Aubynn, Mehmeti and Molins. Out went Wilton Figueiredo who failed to score against his old team AIK. He wasn´t too happy as he went off the pitch. Frustrated he ran off quickly into the dressingroom. He has scored only 2 goals in 13 matches now. Despite the three substitutes and 17-5 in shots Malmö still couldn´t win. They haven´t won on homepitch since the 10th of May.
What about AIK then? Well, they shall not be ashamed. They played roughly how one should play away at Malmö. It´s not a coincidence that they manage to take this point. They are a top-side in Allsvenskan as they have been for years now. But this year they do indeed have all ingrediances in their team to be able to go all the way and snatch the title.
AIK have a team which is a perfect mix of young talented players on the rise and starplayers at the height of their careers. Away at Malmö you don´t need to play pretty. Just focus on taking the points.
Both these teams have starplayers, but they main difference between the sides are evident. AIK have a much more balanced team.

    17th round:

    IFK Göteborg – BK Häcken 2-2 (0-1)

    goal: 0-1 (40) Mattias Östberg, 0-2 (54) Josef Karlsson, 1-2 (85) Hannes Stiller, 2-2 (90) Tomas Olsson
yellow cards, IFK: Erik Lund, Tomas Olsson, Sebastian Eriksson, BKH: John Chibuike, Christoffer Källqvist, Josef Karlsson
sending off, BKH: John Chibuike (two yellow)
    referee: Sven-Martin Åkesson
    attendance: 10872

It was a hometeam in weak form coming into this match. Last week we saw them loose, first away in the Allsvenskan to Trelleborg and then at home to Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Europa League qualifying stages. This game against Häcken for the most part didn´t convince us that their form had turned towards a positive direction.
Bk Häcken went off the pitch at half-time being in the lead.
Josef Karlsson in the second half increased the scoring to 2-1 and IFK were faced with a very steep uphill indeed. But in connection with the sending off we also so saw the big turnaround in the game, as the hometeam managed to seriously put preesure towards the Häcken-goal. The attacker on loan from the Superettan-team Qviding, Hannes Stiller started the comeback with his 1-2 goal. And in the dying moments of the match, veteran Tomas Olsson stood in the right place at the right time to head in the final-result of 2-2. Youngster Bärkroth was the provider with the crossball.

    Kalmar FF – IF Elfsborg 3-1 (1-1)
    goals: 1-0 (34) David Elm, 1-1 (37) Helgi Danielsson, 2-1 (60) Rasmus Elm, 3-1 (80) Abiola Dauda
yellow cards, KFF: Daniel Sobralense, Abiola Dauda, IFE: Anders Svensson, Emir Bajrami, Helgi Danielsson, Martin Andersson
    referee: Åke Andreasson
    attendance: 7753

Kalmar defeated Elfsborg at Fredriksskans and continues to convince us that they are a serious challanger in the title-race.
It was the home-side starting off the strongest and David Elm scored the opener with a fine launching header after 34 minutes. Elfsborg though equalized to 1-1 through Icelands, Helgi Danielsson. Young star Emir Bajrami assisted the goal with both energy and fine technique.
In the second half Rasmus Elm sent a clearcut message to the scouts around the arena with another of his patented dreamgoals. Yet another unstoppable canon. Towards the end, Abiol Dauda finalized the score to 3-1, as he came free on a swift counter-attacking move from the right hand-side.

    Brommapojkarna – Halmstad BK 2-1 (2-0)
    goals: 1-0 (4) Philip Haglund, 2-0 (28) Dalil Benyahia, 2-1 (74) Emir Kujovic
yellow cards, BP: -, HBK: Tomas Zvirgzdauskas, Christian Järdler
    referee: Martin Strömbergsson
    attendance: 1708

BP got off to a flying start when young gun, Philip Haglund opened the the goalscoring-account already after 4 minutes at Grimsta. The home-team continued to dominate and also created several scoring-chances throughout the whole first half. BP got their second goal before half-time, through another young prospect, Dalil Benyahia.
Halmstads BK never really managed to find the top gears, though they got their consolation-goal. Emir Kujovic was the scorer for the west-coast team. And so BP eventually could cash in a rather confident three-pointer in the western suburbs of Stockholm.

    Örebro - Örgryte 2-2 (1-0)
    goals: 1-0 (15) Självmål, 1-1 (46) Alvaro Santos, 1-2 (49) Marcus Allbäck, 2-2 (85) Självmål.
yellow cards, Örgryte: Alessandro Silva Perreira, Björn Anklev, Marcus Allbäck, Sebastian Johansson
    referee: Magnus Ahlsén
    attendance: 7 735.

Örgryte are beginning to be more and more cocky, as the they are 1-0 down, turns the match around to 2-1, though they in the end have to settle for a draw.
The fact is that Örgryte actually scored all four goals in the match. The first goal was an own goal scored by ÖIS-defender David Leinar, after Patrik Anttonen had provide a fine crossball into the peanalty-area from the right-hand side.
In the early parts of the second half Örgryte had some golden minutes. First Alvaro Santos got a perfect long-ball from technically skilled playmaker Pavel Zavail, and the brazilian didn´t disappoint as he scored to 1-1. Just minutes later it was time again for veteran Markus Allbäck to show his lethal sence for goal. As a cross came into the peanalty-area he stuck his foot forward and scored the 2-1 goal. But with just 5 minutes left on the clock Dennis Jonsson was to be the second unlucky guy scoring an own-goal. Astvald crossed the ball into the peanalty-area. Jonsson was standing right in the path of the ball, and it touched him. Bengt Andersson in goal was helpless and couldn´t save the ball going passed him into the goal.

    Hammarby - Helsingborg 1-2 (0-1)
    goal: 0-1 (41) René Makondele, 0-2 (60) Erik Sundin, 1-2 (65) Andreas Dahl.
yellow cards, Hammarby: Fredrik Söderström, Emil Johansson. Sebastian Castro-Tello. Helsingborg: Joel Ekstrand, Andreas Landgren, Erik Sundin, Christoffer
    Andersson, Olafur Skulason
    referee: Michael Lerjéus
    attendance: 9 949.

The crowd at Söderstadion experianced two beautiful goals. Erik Sundin scored 1-0 on a wonderful lob, passed Hammarby-goalie Kristoffer Björklund. In the 65th minute Andreas Dahl scored an equally beautiful goal when he outsmarted goalie Per Hansson through a well placed freekick. But that goal was unfortunately for the hometeam, only a reduced score to 1-2 as René Makondele already in the first-half had opened with his 1-0 goal.
The new brazilian Rafael in Hammarby, had a really good game in the attack and already after 10 seconds into the game he had the chance to score behind Per Hansson but the ball went out to a corner. In the second half he was substituted as he became more and more anonymous. Freddy Söderberg had a really golden opportunity to score late on but his shot hit the post.
On Sunday evening Hammarby meets local rival Djurgården in a especially important game. Yes it is aderby. But most imortantly, it is a meeting between two bottom teams.

    Gefle - Djurgården 2-0 (2-0)
    goals: 1-0 (5) Jonas Lantto, 2-0 (12) Daniel Westlin
yellow cards, Gefle: Andreas Dahlén, Daniel Westlin. Djurgården: Mattias Jonson.
    referee: Martin Ingvarsson
    attendance: 6 287.

Gefle could have been 4-0 up after already 15 minutes into the game as they started off in tempo furioso. Jonas Lantto managed a really fine solo-goal to 1-0. Then Djurgården-keeper Oskar Wahlström rushed into one of his own players which Daniel Westlin in Gefle took advantage of this situation as the goal suddenly was wide-open. It was 2-0 and the way team from Stockholm had to change things to the better as they alsochanged their tactics and substituted Jan Tauer into the game, who definately gave them an energy-boost. But the hometeam managed to ride the storm and cash in a welcomed three-pointer.

    Gais - Trelleborg 0-1 (0-0)
    goal4) Peter Abelsson
yellow cardsn Mårtensson, Mattias Lindström 2, Kenneth Gustafsson. Trelleborg: Thommie Persson, Magnus Andersson, Joakim Nilsson. sending off: Lindström
    Referee: Johan Hemlin
    Attendance:3115

The bad times are to stay for Gothenberg-side GAIS. They once again dominates a game possesion-wise but fails in the goalscoring department. Despite numerous chances and more than 20 finnishes towards goal they can´t put the ball past Viktor Norling in the Trelleborg-goal.
Instead it was to be Peter Abelsson scoring for the visitors via a freekick from Mikael Bengtsson GAIS- a team without any greater selfconfidence, but a team with some decent potency when they find their form. 13 straight matches without a win gives us an emphatically clear picture of a team in sincere trouble though.

    goals: 0-1 (19) own goal
yellow cards, DIF: Hrovje Milic , HIF: Emil Johansson, Nathan Paulse
    referee: Jonas Eriksson
    attendance: 15 774

The match between the two rivaling Stockholm-clubs wasn´t just a normal derby. It was also an utterly important
fight between two teams fighting against relegation. As the match started, Djurgården looked the more alert of the
two sides and consequently created the more dangerous chances. But in connection with a Andres Dahl freekick in the
19th minute, DIF-defender Markus Johannesson was unortunate enough scoring an own goal. The result at half-time
stayed 1-0. In the second half the roles were reversed as Hammarby had most of the possesion and also created the
chances. But the longer the half went on, more and more defensive they played, wanting to let the clock do
the job. It was to be a successful tactic as Djurgården never really managed to threaten the Hammarby-goal. So the
match then ends with the South Stockholm club taking the victory and thus also increasing the margine down to DIF
    to five points.

    ÖIS-IFK Göteborg
    goals: 1-0 (14) Alex Perreira, 1-1 (52) Tobias Hysén, 1-2 (89) Tobias Hysén
yellow cards, ÖIS: Robin Jonsson, Alex, Pavel Zavadil, Roy Miller, IFK: Mikael Dyrestam, Thomas Olsson
    referee: Åke Andreasson
    attendance: 11 199

ÖIS were the better team early on through some steady defensive play and nifty counter-attacks. After roughly a
quarter into the first haf the brazilian Alex in ÖIS, started a solorun from the midfield towards Kim Christensen
in the IFK-goal and then managed getting the ball passed him into the goal with a cool finish.
In the second half IFK Göteborg started playing much better and put pressure towards the ÖIS-goal. Tobias Hysén
equalised after a suspicous offside situation. IFK there after continued dominating in the game creating more
chances but everynow and then ÖIS managed to inflict some decent chances of their through some strict
counterattacking style. But it was to be IFK having the last say in the match when goal-snatcher Hysén scored his
second of the evening only one minute from the end. Hannes Stiller provided him wih the assist through a header.

An in form team, Kalmar FF travelled to Örans Vall on the West Coast, to take on a Halmstad BK with bad confidence
after 10 straight matches without a win. When these two sides met in the spring the match ended 2-0 t o HBK. Hstory
repeated itself after an impressive performance by especially Emir Kujovic and Marcus Olsson.

    Elfsborg - Gefle, 2-3 (1-0)

yellow cards, ELF: Stefan Ishizaki, GIF: Yussif Chibsah
    referee: Michael Lerjéus

Elfsborg dominated early on but weren´t awaded with more than a peanalty-goal in the 11th minute. Shure the
homeside had a 1-0 lead at half time but in the second half they looked quite uninterested and unfocused. Gefle´s
Bapupa punished Elfsborg twice. Both were high-class goals. Ishizaki then late on reduced to 2-3. The fine balanced
play we saw against Braga was totally vanished to this game and an excited positve crowd had turned angry as the
hometeam was met by a solid whistling display from ther fans. They expected an easy win.

    Helsingborg - Örebro, 0-1 (0-0)
    goals: 0-1 (56) Kim Olsen
yellow cards, HIF: Erik Sundin, ÖSK: Michael Almebäck, Magnus Wikström, Adriano Munoz
    referee: Daniel Stålhammar
    attendance: 8 034

Örebro normally manages good results against Helsingborg and todays meeting wasn´t an exception. Kim Olsen´s header
to 1-0 ment that Helsingborg wasn´t able to retake the first position from IFK Göteborg who won earlier during
the day. And actually one couldn´t really say that Örebro didn´t deserve the win as they broke a negative period being
off form. Helsingborg in turn looked cosiderably tired and pale after an enegy-soaking game in the Europa
    League.

    Hi

Could you help me with a couple of questions:

Do you think Elfsborg will rest players in the match tomorrow against Hammarby, considering their Europa League match against Lazio next week?

I read on svenskafans.com that Assis from Kalmar has moved club to Qatar. I thought he still was in Kalmar and the reason that he didn't play the last matches was an injury?

What do you think about Gefle's new attack? I mean the duo Jawo-Berggren was very good. I know Berggren will return after his injury, but how do you rate Gerndt and Westlin compared to Jawo and Berggren. Which of the two do you think will play together with Berggren in the attach, when he returns?

Thanks for the good reviews of the Allsvenskan games...

ifkgötet, great summation of the Allsvenskan matches.

I wish someone could do that for the Tippeligaen games.

    Please keep it up.

    Thanks!

    Thank you guys.

When it comes to Elfsborg ther squad is not official but it looks like they will play Helgi Danielsson and Anders Svensson as they are both back from suspension. Often coach Haglund starts of with Avdic on top in these matches. Maybe not Keene from start. We´ll see. Otherwise I think Nordmark might get the nod. We had a small break so maybe Haglund wants to play the top-guys.

Gefle surprised many in the Elfsborg-game. Gerndt and Westlin played just behind Bapupa on top. So in effect Bapupa was seen as striker in that game. Which might then suggest that he will play with Berggren when he returns.

Yes Assis is indeed test-playing in Qatar.

    Hammarby-Elfsborg 2-3 (1-2)

    Målen: 0-1 (18) Stefan Ishizaki, 1-1 (21) Andreas Dahl, 1-2 (42) Anders Svensson, 1-3 Stefan Ishizaki (85), 2-3 Rafael (86).
Varningar, HAM: Monteiro, Johansson, Laitinen. ELF: Andersson.

Elfsborg won well-deserved. Hammarby produces a good performance but they never really reaches the same quality as Elfsborg when it comes to ballpossesion and most other aspects. The goals Elfsborg scores today re unstoppable. Particularly the goals scored by first Ishizaki on a magnificent freekick and then Anders Svensson on a fantastic volley from just outside the box with his unfavoured left-foot. In fact those goals holds high international standard. A proof of the Borås-teams class is that we see an impressive display by newcomer, Amadou Jawo when Keene isn´t on the pitch.
Hammarby certainly didn´t look like a team under thret of relegation. Swift counterattacking, good defensive play and a Sebastian Castro-Tello impressing as playmaker, gives hope for an Autumn without relegation.

    Kalmar FF-Gefle 1-1 (0-0)
    Målen: 1-0 (58) Daniel Mendes, 1-1 (77) Bapupa.
    Varningar, GEF: Bapupa, Chibsah.
    Domare: Stefan Johannesson
    Publik: 5 296

After Daniel Menes goal 1 hour into the game, Kalmar looked quite confident and shure of snatching the three-pointer. But an impressive and in-form Gefle-team comes back strong through striker Yannick Bapupa. He is awesome shape at the moment indeed and seem to lift his team to a surprisingly high level. The goal itself came from a corner. Inciently Kalmar´s captain Henrik Rydström let the ball go out past the short-line. He didn´t think it was a corner. An error that proved to be fatal in retrospect.
Two straight losses for Kalmar. Gefle impressing and surprising with four points against Elfsborg and Kalmar.

For long it looked like Göteborg would cash in a rather comfortable win. A nice, early 2-0 lead against an injury-struck Helsingborg and IFK pouring on for a third goal at Ullevi in Gothenburg.
But a considerably more rapid team from Scania in the second half turned the game around. Makondele scored their two goals.
Helsingborg-coach Nilsson smiled after the final whistle. Stefan Rehn in the IFK-camp looked a bit puzzled.

    Brommapojkarna-Trelleborg 2-2 (1-2)
    Målen: 0-1 (22) Andreas Wihlborg, 1-1 (28) Olof Guterstam, 1-2 (42) Andreas Drugge, 2-2 (80) Pär Asp.
Varningar, BP: Jensen, Albornoz, Haglund. TFF: Nilsson, Bengtsson.
    Domare: Sven-Martin Åkesson.
    Publik: 1 718

On a numerous number of occasions this season BP have lost points late on in the matches. This time though, we saw them fight back twice from 0-1 and 1-2. Central defender Pär Asp levelled the score 10 minutes from the end. His first Allsvensan-goal. Dispite all of this Trelleborg wasn´t far off grabbing the victory in the dying seconds but young goalie Nordfeldt made a glorious save to the delight of the tiny crowd at Grimsta.

    Örebro - Djurgården 2-0 (1-0)
goals: 1-0 (4) Fredrik Nordback (peanalty), 2-0 (86) Per Johansson
yellow cards, Djurgården: Markus Johannesson. Örebro: Adriano.
    referee: Åke Andreasson.
    attendance: 9 094

Nordback scored from the peanalty-spot after 4 minutes when Olsen had been brought down by Koivasto. Djurgården had most of the ballpossesion but just couldn´t score passed Alvbåge.
In the second half the roles were reversed when Örebro had most of the play. But Djurgården continued to create scoring-chances. Tauer had a magnificent shot from 30 metres saved by Man of the match, Alvbåge. It was very significent for out-of-form DIF that Örebro scored on one of their few chances as Johansson finds the net in the 86 minute from an assist by Astvald.

    Halmstad - AIK 1-2 (1-2)
    goals: 1-0 (10) Michael Rosén, 1-1 (13) Ivan Obolo, 1-2 (37) Kenny Pavey.
yellow cards, Halmstad: Anel Raskaj. AIK: Markus Jonsson, Bojan Djordjic, Jorge Ortiz 2. sending off, AIK: Jorge Ortiz.
    referee: Michael Lerjéus.
    attendance: 5 425.

The referee stopped the game after 17 minutes as the pitch was drenched by the pouring rain. Already by then two goals had been scored. Halmstad opened the scoring through Rosén´s fine lob behind Örlund, but AIK once again showed us good moral and equalized when Óbolo found the net 3 minutes later. After the delay, the English terrier Kenney Pavey gives AIK the lead in the 37th minute.
Dispite the lead AIK made some rough challenges late on, resulting in a number of decent freekick opportunities and also the sending of off Ortiz. Halmstad though didn´t manage to equalize thus meanig the cocky stockholmers could leave the grey skyes on the West-coast with a 2-1 victory against tricky HBK.

    goals: (53) Pär Ericsson.
yellow cards, Örgryte: Dennis Jonsson, Sebastian Johansson, David Leinar.
    referee: Martin Ingvarsson.
    attence: 7 937

After a goaless first half Pär Ericsson scores on the header as the ball got crossed into the peanalty. GAIS continued piling on with chance after chance. A heavy load was lifted of off the coach of GAIS, Axén when the only goal of the match was scored because it meant his team left one of the relegation-spots to Djurgården. Örgryte now trails 8 points behind their fellow Gothenburg compatriates.

    Malmö FF - Häcken 1-2 (1-1)
    goal: 0-1 (17) Tom Söderberg, 1-1 (35) Ricardinho, 1-2 (51) Paulinho.
yellow cards, Malmö: Rick Kruys. Häcken: Johan Lind. sending off, Malmö: Gabriel.
    referee: Daniel Stålhammar
    attendance: 11 432

Another frustrating performance for Malmö. The character of the match was the expected one. Hugely talanted Malmö outplayed tiny Häcken all through the match. Häcken counter-attacked. And the winning goal by Häcken was a scrappy one as their brazilian Paulinho finds a gap in the MFF-armour. Malmös Edward Ofere were the biggest goal-misser of them all as he couldn´t convert from all the fine assists that was handed to him on a silverplate. Gabriel lost his temper late on. A symbol of the frustration setting in on the Southeners. It all looked so rosy and shiny late on in the first half when Ricardinho had shown some equilibristic, brazilian freekick-finesse. A sparce crowd of only 11 000 in the third city witness the world being upside down. The dwarfs from the island of Hisingen wins away at Malmö. A frustrated bewing and whistling concert was heard after the 90 minutes played at Swedbank Arena. Maybe the Malmö-players ought to swap wages with the Häcken-boys.

    The 20th round starts of:

    Helsingborg - Gais 0-1 (0-1)
    goal:
    (8) Eyjolfur Hedinsson.
yellow cards, Helsingborg: Olafur Skulason 2, Erik Sundin 2, Christoffer Andersson, Joel Ekstrand. Gais: Calum Angus, Richard Spong, Jonas Lundén. Utvisningar, Helsingborg: Olafur Skulason, Erik Sundin.
    referee: Åke Andreasson.
    attendance: 9 760

Wat a match at Olympia. GAIS shocked by taking the lead already after 8 minutes through a shot by Skulason, that went into the gal via the post. Helsingborg never really managed to put any serious pressure towards the visitors goal, much thanks to two consecutive yellow cards and therefor the sending off of Skulason already after 14 minutes.
Helsingborg recovered well in the secod half. Andreas Landgren had a post-shot and then Helsingborg also had an offside-goal with only 3 minutes left to play. Yet another tight 1-0 win for gothenburg-side GAIS, meaning that push down Hammarby to a releationspot for te time being, but "Bajen" though have yet to ply their match tomorrow evening.
Referee Åkesson made it difficult for the hometeam to fight back as Sundin got his second yellow card with 7 minutes left to play.
Both before and after the match there was some crowd-disturbances between GAIS- and HIF-supporters.

    Elfsborg - Örebro 2-1 (2-1)
    goals:
    1-0 (6) Daniel Mobaeck, 2-0 (13) James Keene, 2-1 (16) Markus Astvald.
ellow cards, Elfsborg: Mathias Florén. Örebro: Tommy Wirtanen, Markus Astvald, Magnus Wikström, Magnus Kihlberg.
    referee: Sven-Martin Åkesson.
    attendance: 6 302

Elfsborg play some impressive football early and could easily have been 3-0 up after 10 minutes. They played at a tempo furioso with the Lazio-match in the legs helping tem and at the same time Örebro looked considerably slow and weak. The 2-0 goal was a fine example of that as ÖSK failed with the offside-trap when Keene scored.
In a swift attack just after Elfsborg´s 2-0 goal, Astvald managedto score his first Allsvenskan-goal. Elfsborg though created further chances in the first hlf but failed to convert and it stayed 2-1.
In the second half Elfsborg continued to dominate with some neat one-touch football but Örero had a much tighter defense at the same time and could evetually ride the offensive storm from the Borås-team. The problem though was that Örebro failed considerably in the offensive department.
Notable also from this match was the very poor attendance-number. It is the worst attendance ever at Borås Arena.

    AIK–Kalmar FF 1–1 (1–0)
    1–0 Nils–Eric Johansson (3), 1–1 Tobias Karlsson (69).
yellow cards, AIK: Kenny Pavey. Kalmar FF: Stefan Larsson, Daniel Sobralense, Reinaldo Zacharias.
    referee: Martin Ingvarsson, Hässleholm.
    attendance: 18 488.
AIK (4–4–2): Daniel Örlund – Markus Jonsson, Per Karlsson, Jos Hooiveld, Nils–Eric Johansson – Kenny Pavey, Dulee Johnson, Daniel Tjernström, Martin Kayongo Mutumba (Yussuf Saleh 74) – Antonio Falvio (Saihou Jagne 64), Iván Óbolo (Mikael Thorstensson 83).
Kalmar FF (4–4–2): Petter Wastå – Emin Nouri, Stefan Ålander, Joachim Lantz, Stefan Larsson – Daniel Sobralense, Henrik Rydström, Tobias Eriksson, Reinaldo Zacharias – Ricardo Santos (Abiola Dauda 66), Daniel Mendes.

AIK got off to a dreamstart. Left defender Nils-Eric Johansson headed home 1-0 after 3 minutes from assist by Kenney Pavey. After the opening goal Kalmar started dominating somewhat but AIK had some dangerous counterattacks. The first half also saw a suspicious peanalty situation when Mendes shot seemed to touch Hooiveld´s arm.
In the second half AIK tried to secure their lead by playing defensively naive. They were conseuently punnished. After an enormous and sustained Kalmar-pressure Tobias Eriksson fond in a scrappy situation in front of goal, 69 minutes into the game. Even though both teams createdsome decent chances late on the resut ended 1-1.
Unfortunately for AIK their bg star Ivan Óbolo, got elbowed by Stefan Ålander. The blood came streamingdown and he was repaced by Torstensson.
