Not a promising start for the US... I have no clue what the Jingle Bells was about? Nor dos Goff. Was that Lloyd who injured the Swedish keeper?

Lindahl had to come out to shank that, but the US couldn't do anythingwith it and Sweden comes back the other way before someone strips her of the ball.

morning everyone. Checking in from San Diego. First WWC game i've been able to stay up and watch. If I make it all the way through and watch the Germany game, will be awake for 24 hours. For soccer, can probably do it.

So far the US is not dangerous at all. Nice free kick though.

 

Sadly, nothing doing on this one.

 

Is anyone following on matchtracker? Maybe they can post Sweden's lineup?

 

I keep wanting to say something good about the US. The US offense was looking a little better and more settled, then the defense loks like crap and can't even clear the ball.

 

Whatever the over is on corner kicks for this game, I wish I'd bet some substantial coin on it.
