    Yeah, but what color are the strips? I have to be color coordinated for cooking breakfast and handing out candy to trick-or-treaters later in the day. Maybe the GK will be in orange so I can fit in with the holiday.

    Swans wear white at home, don't they? I imagine we'll be in red.

    Thanks for stepping up Kanonier. And nice touch with the team jack-o-lantern pics. I thought the Swans one was beautiful but the Arse one looked like painted plastic. So I found these...

    Then go with Iwobi. At least he still has potential.

    Minor quibble but it's EDT. Last day of it. Nice thematic pumpkins btw.

    It's gonna be Campbell on the RW, take it to the bank. I'm cautiously optimistic about it and think he might show better playing with the A-list midfield. Main thing I'm looking for from him is workrate and defensive contribution. Anything positive we get offensively will be considered a bonus.

    Interesting. I thought maybe for this one we'd see Debuchy and Bellarin combo bc of the Montero threat. We better be fcuking up for this one after getting our asses handed to us by some Championship fodder. Swansea are a good side and I expect them to play well. Can't say I'd be happy with a point, but it's a tough game. If the team plays hard and no more injuries I'll be happy.

    At least he's had the sense to not move Santi out of midfield.

    Swansea always really tough at home.

    Hoping for a draw, would not be surprised at a loss.

    If i recall correctly last year they collect 6 points out of 6 two game played against us. This year time to pay back and we need those six point ASAP without any delay. Here is my pick for this one...I will do a bit differently this time...last year i remember Jefferson Montero created lots of problem for Chemberlin....this time it will be a bit different....

    ==========Who else=============
    Doubchy===Gabriel===Kos===Monreal
    ==========Coq=====Santi=======
    Bellerin=====Ozil=========Sanchez
    ===========OG===============

    We will win 2-1....although i would prefer a clean shit...This season it will come down to goal difference imho.

    How bad is the injury of Thoe/Ox?

    I read we may experiment with Gibbs on the left wing, and shift Alexis to the right.

    Thoughts?

    This was Joel Campbell vs Real Madrid. A decent performance IMO. he does do plenty of defensive work and I love the way he dribbles past Marcelo around 5:40. I'm hoping he takes some inspiration from Coquelin and finds form in this game. It's his first chance to get a proper run of games in and hopefully he does well (that's if he starts of course lol.)

    Joel needs to play on the right

    We need to stop this "move Bellerin up the pitch" movement that our fans have started. It makes no sense.

    Agree. No sense messing with a player that is just really finding his feet in first flight football.

    Campbell does a great job helping the fullback.

    Attacking wise, he is pants but he works.

    Apparently Campbell is gonna figure prominently one way or the other. Here's what the boss said in his presser:

    “My short-term option is [to play] Campbell or get one more defensive midfielder in like Flamini and put Cazorla on the flank. I haven’t decided yet. We will find solutions and I have to find the right one.

    “I have been very impressed with Campbell, his attitude is outstanding and his daily dedication in training and his desire to improve is absolutely outstanding.

    “I think he can be a big help for us, and he can play centre forward don’t forget that. In the coming two to three months he can be a very important player for us.

    “This is a challenge for me and for the players who come in to show their quality. At the end you can find yourself with a bigger squad - that is what happened with Coquelin and Bellerin last season.”

    That's bizarre. Anyway I think I noticed it's also on NBC Universo in Spanish if that helps. Or else stream it from NBC.

    In any case, do NOT consider this an excuse for you to sleep in another 3hrs!

    Actually, ya know what I just realized ......

    All my gripes are moot anyway.
    I had promised an Aussie friend that if the RWC Final was between
    the All Blacks and the Wallabies, that she could come over for breakfast
    and 'refreshments'
    So I won't be able to watch the entirety of The Arsenal match until after
    it's conclusion anyway.

    A promise is a promise ! :D
