Our fans are singing: we're coming for you, we're coming for you, Lincoln city we're coming for you. [emoji38]
2 up against weak opposition with 20 mins to go why would you bring on Sanchez? ******** me if he does a hammy or something.
Sanchez coming in in the 73rd minute. Pretty bizarre Huh? just pray he doesn't do something to himself on the Astroturf!
With sure fire odds of us reaching the semis, it looks like it's FA Cup or bust this year! Then Wenger rides off into the sunset?
I realize they weren't at full effort, but 4 shots on target against non-league opposition is pretty pathetic.
Just listening to 5Live podcast about tonite's match. Apparently a few mins after FT, a bunch of Sutton fans ran over to our supporters to harass and antagonize them. The stewards tried to keep them at bay, then police came in to contain/tackle the idiots. Not sure if it's better or worse that they're mostly kids? And who knew that little fairytale Sutton had Millwall tendencies?!
Yawn....followed by a big fart. Wow, Theo produced something. Awesome. Sounds like bringing in Alexi in the 77nth minute was brilliant player management. WTF.
It doesn't matter. With or without Alexis this year is already done. I don't think an FA Cup will pacify anyone.
Saw Wenger's post game interview. Kind of seems like he's checked out a bit, though that could just be the shell-shock of the Bayern loss.
Yeah, that's the way it looked to me. We were clearly better, and maybe in the bigger scheme it's not that big a deal but I was disappointed that we never really looked like we were crushing or dominating them.
The Roly-Poly Goalie! You can't make this stuff up: http://www.espnfc.us/sutton-united/...yne-shaw-faces-investigations-over-pie-eating
I had a hunch something was up when I saw the Sutton staffer giggling in the background when the pie was being consumed. p.s. Supposedly it was a pasty technically.
On the football yesterday, here was a recurring thought I had... Before the match, I expected us to dominate them on two fronts: fitness & technique. In the end, yes on the former, but not so much on the latter. We should've been constantly passing circles around them, no? The only logical answer I can come up with is the plastic pitch.
