Seattle win 2-1 the WAC Championship tournament. They win their automatic bid. As a classic the last minutes were frenzy, with the previously dominated team throwing all its forces hoofing the ball into the box, while the previously dominating team was hoofing the ball outside its box.
The one game remaining is Rider at Fairfield. Portland has some SOS riding on the outcome. UP defeated Fairfield 6-0 back in August. A Fairfield victory today could give the Pilots a bit of a boost; consequently, a loss could drop them further.
