Barca’s written offer is indeed a Loan plus option of buying, not even an obligatory purchase but optional, they’re taking the piss at PSG at this point.

I don`t see how we are going after Neymar with Bale and James staying. As for Barca. That loan proposal is absurd. Ney-Ney will stay in PSG.

It is all speculation, but it sounds reasonable to presume that Al Khaleifi remains in contact with Florentino. He wants to get the best deal, so why shouldn’t he listen to both parties after the final bid of Barca. I think Barca wants to pull a trick with the sale of Coutinho and offer PSG one year loan deal with an huge price for next year which will be more than 200M

We have 10 forwards listed already. There is literally no room for Neymar. Not to mention adding 70M+ gross wages, while already spending tons of cash on Hazard and Bale.

Maybe the end goal was to make sure he stays put and doesn't move. We haven't made any offers and Barcelona is just bluffing to keep Messi happy. Neymar was never a priority for Barcelona and if he was they would have went after him opposed to Griezmann.

Money aside....the idea of rolling out the red carpet for a player who has rejected Real Madrid repeatedly is nauseating.

It seems to me that the powers that be at Real Madrid know this is a signing that we don't need. If he's available at a price that suits us then yes, we'll go in. However, we're not making the effort because he was not expected early this summer, we have enough attacking players as it is and he'll cost a fortune whilst we still have Bale on the book and spent a tonne on Hazard.

I'll think he'll end up staying at PSG, score a decent amount of goals but suffer more injuries, price will plummet and then he'll join Barcelona and replace Griezmann who would have had a poor season.

If he really wants to leave he will take a paycut. That's all there is to it. Not to mention he's not even worth over 200 million euros anymore. He's 2 years older, injury prone and has a bad attitude. His price should be around 170-180 million euros imo. Maybe less.

Fair enough. Maybe it's just knee jerk from me. Judging by that offer Barca made today they don't even want him.

I can see his press conference now. Rumours of leaving PSG were just that, rumours. He is happy to stay in Paris and fight for all titles with his teammates!

Humbling experience for Neymar. Neither Barca nor Madrid willing to move mountains for this guy.

I wouldn't have even agreed to Swap Vinicius for Neymar and money.

PSG can take their demand and shove it down Leonardo's throat.

Flo should offer one year loan with optional buyout. Plus, PSG covers half of his wages. :D

We haven't made any offers for him. Don't know where these rumors are coming from. We are simply spectating. His father has been calling people in our club today asking about what we plan to do for his sons' transfer. We haven't even talked to his camp. Flo is probably gonna wait it out until his price drops to make a move (if it's even possible).

These guys know nothing. They are just piggybacking off of another "source" as always.

Judging by their abysmal record, we're going to sign Neymar because the literal opposite of most of what they report as fact happens.

Not that this is a shock but Le Parisien claims that PSG will reject Barca's final offer for Neymar. Is it time for us to strike?

Neymar on the cover of both AS and Marca. Essentially saying we're keeping touch with Neymar's environment daily, and will jump in once Barca fail. Pedrerol also saying the same; his story has changed a 1000 times in the past week.

I have said this for a week now.

Neymar needs to push the envelope and force things. He must send a clear message that he won't play nice and doesn't want to stay at all cost.

Then it's Florentino time. PSG will no doubt rather hear a shit deal from us than a shit deal from them.
