Did you understand what I wrote at all? Fierro said we would not bring in a capable backup before we purchased Jovic. And we did. What don't you see?
Could be a whole scam to get Mbappe. Sign Jovic, force him to fail by playing with Kubo and Vinicius in a couple of testy away games. Then permanently bench saying "not ready for the responsibilities of Madrid." Claim "Mbappe and Pogba are the only way forward".
Jovic was called a "substitute transfer" in the local press. Generally, outside of online forums and football twitter nobody knows who Jovic is in context to Real Madrid. I like the player, but with a coach as passionate about Benzema as Zidane i struggle to see how he could get over 1500 minutes next season.
Trash to fill papers Marca literally know nothing. No differently than AS. Only AS wants to destory the club.
I don't think Pogba deal will happen. He will be priced out and Utd will try to keep him as long as he doesn't revolt totally. .@PaulPogba ➡️ @AWBissaka ➡️ Greenwood ⚽️You love to see it. To be fair we dont even know if this is true. Im inclined to agree, they had the same tone regarding Jovic's signing then a couple of days later he was made official.
FWIW, Marca has an article that all options are open for James including staying. He will join the team on 28th. https://www.marca.com/futbol/real-madrid/2019/07/17/5d2f2c84268e3e036b8b45c4.html
Journos close to Utd like Jamie Jackson on Guardian also saying 170 M Pounds asking price. Utd are proper mid table quality without Pogba and even the likes of Savic has 100 ME pricetag despite an inconsistent season. Pogba can force his way out like Coutinho, but asking price unlikely to reduce with rich English clubs. Even Chelsea didn't budge on price despite Hazard's contract running out.
Well yea i believe we'll have to pay through our teeth to get him but i do think it will happen, everything he and Raiola have said so far indicates they're pushing for a way out.
They haven't even turned up the pressure yet. After the tour, let's see what happens. If Manchester goes and buys a player like SMS we already know what the deal is. My hope is that we can corner Pogba into forcing the issue and putting in the transfer request. If we can do that the price drops. Maybe we can satiate them with a small payout so they sacrifice much but not all.
I don’t know what Pogba must be thinking. Even with Maguire, that roster’s maximum potential is 4th place imo and that’s if Chelsea regress significantly without Hazard. The most likely scenario is Pogba will be in a similar position next year. He will be getting abused by the mancunians and they will be in the Europa league zone. I suppose he will be one year older and one less year on his contract, meaning he will cost less.
Indeed, i don’t know if Pogba will come or not but this caption doesn’t even make any sense to me, do these two players play the same position?, bring the same things to the team? reconsider Gareth as an option for what?, meh, nonsense
Cadena SER: Real Madrid consider Bale is not a problem even if he insists on staying. He is transferable if a good offer arrives. If you he has to stay, he will be counted on to play as one more of the team.— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) July 17, 2019 "Unless Paul Pogba coming, no more signing is expected from Real Madrid."Bale is transferable, but if he stays at Real Madrid, Zidane will not leave him in the stands all the gamesSource Onda Cero. pic.twitter.com/qEoV8dy1Fi— Madridista-Swedeninho (@MadridstaLoco) July 17, 2019 Hope we keep James if Pogba deal doesn't go through.
Edu Pidal: Vallejo will be loaned out. Same likely for Ceballos. Isco wants to stay. Asensio can be sold if a good offer arrives. Club wants to sell two forwards. Mariano wants to stay but he won't get minutes so club will try to convince him that it's better for both to part ways. Lucas also transferable. Another case is that of Gareth Bale, in the club they want him to go to Tottenham or United . However, if he stays, he won't be in the stands all season.
So looking at this again Kubo and Rodrygo can't be with the first team due to passport issues. So that's one player of the six taken care of. So five left, one keeper will go and the Castilla keeper will take that third position. That leaves four. Lucas Silva will be sold or released, that leaves three. Mayoral will be sold, that leaves two players to move. Rumours persists Zidane wanted a squad of 23, so that would still leave two to sell at the minimum and four players to sell ideally, which is hardly any. Now rumour wise any of James/Bale/Lucas/Mariano can be sold. Brahim, Vallejo and Ceballos will likely be loaned. ------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: Currently 31 players in the squad, so 6 players have to be loaned/sold and/or sign with Castilla. What sucks is that guys like Isco, Kroos, Asensio and Bale are really talented and if they really cared about erasing last season from our memories, we would have a damn good midfield/attack. There's no guarantee that is happening so I think we must renew the squad as much as we can. But the market has poor offers as of right now. Besides Pogba, who could really improve the midfield? Eriksen to me is an average midfielder. He would be new blood and nothing else. Would that be enough? If Pogba is impossible, who could we realistically bring?
I swear you're one of the most naive people I've ever seen. It's just a bureaucratic necessity. He was registed in the Juvenil A last year too and didn't play a minute there. The only one that is laughable is you.
