    Defensas
    Brian Torrealba, central y lateral izquierdo @Ohiginiano - O'Higgins
Francisco Sierralta, central y lateral derecho, titular - Palestino
Kevin Vásquez, lateral izquierdo y volante central suplente - S. Wanderers.

    Volantes

Chile wasn't magically played in the contiguous group during the Copa this summer so CONMEBOL making up for that during the U20 tourney. :p

We'll have a mini youth-level Fla vs Wanderers by the looks of it. I'll take it. I wonder who will start talking trash.... :whistling:

Looking forward to this tournament as always. The groups look pretty uneven in theory.

Guess none cares about this competition?

Just wanted to point out that for the 2nd time running Chile gets stuck playing 4 matches in a row without rest, some food for thought there.

This is the team that Piscis will take to the sudamericano, it is in theory one of the strongest ones he has ever called up in 5 years as the head coach of Colombia U-20, but as always, the main problem remains the same, he is a terrible coach.

The main players to watch are Jorge Segura (CB), Kevin Balanta(DM), Juan Camilo Hernandez (AMF), Juan Pablo Ramirez (AMF) and Michael Nike Gomez (ST).

I dislike that several matches will be played twice, whereas players only have two test days between matches.

The top 3 teams of each group should cross play each other over three rounds, not five.

Anybody know if this tourney will be live on any channels in the US?

Last 2 were on bein; 2005 and 2009 were on Gol; 2007 on Fox; 2011 on ESPN Deportes. Before that matches were available through closed circuit.

I'd be surprised if bein picked up the rights, considering that they got a lot on their plate now (AFCON, for example) but then again I always say that and they end up contracting more stuff. Gol is on its last legs, so that would be a shock.

    Anybody know anything?

Remember the good ol' days whe the Libertadores, Sudamericana, the U-20s and the U-17s were shown on regular Spanish packages on satellite TV in the US?

    :(

    Where did we go wrong?

    They stopped taking over, actually.

They leave the Libertadores and immediately it, the Sudamericana and the youth tournaments disappear.

    Please come back, Mexicans!

no, I mean they are in charge of most spanish speaking soccer channels in north america.

ever since that happened little by little we began to lose things like the commentary which we had, then the south american leagues then the sudamericana etc.
