I don't like lavolpe, but you gotta admit though if pablo luna is from the lavolpista school, he must have been an F student. This was a very bad, very disorganized version of lavolpe's strategy, any strategy can be butchered so i don't know if you can blame this one on lavolpe.
I hit my elbow on the frame of my car door today, I'm pretty sure Lavolpe is responsible for that too.
In the game against colombia he did the same thing. He was alone right in front of goal and hit it way off to the side. The funny thing is he did the hard part by getting past a defender.
I agree with you the team kinda sucks, but from what i've seen they aren't any worse than any of the other teams in the group. The futbol i've seen played in this tournament is pretty bad.
Struggling, he was injured on the first half of 2006, when he cameback he didn't manage to recover his past form. Hopefully he'll manage to do it, otherwise he'll become just another promising player that didn't make it.
He is yet to play a minute this season. http://www.mediotiempo.com/jugadores/jugador.php?idj=10591&idt=88
His not injured anymore. I heard (not sure if it was the game vs Monterrey) that he was in the bench.
The kid is healthy now, but the coach is not considering for the games, not even as a sub, he does attend to the bench though.
Offcourse. one of the best tournaments to discover new talents, eventhough you should know them before Toulon
I guess Mexico won't be participating in the Toulon tournament anymore. Sorry if this has already been posted. http://espndeportes.espn.go.com/news/story?id=552922&s=mex&type=story
Unfortunately Rivas had his third major injury in 4 years, he will miss all season. Such a shame, he's got some great potential.
