This has been discussed before and I am hearing Venezulea or Colombia. WE have a better team and shot at winning it as Venezulea hasnt ever made it to qualify and we dont want it to be like Peru when they didnt even make the 2nd round.

Think it be a big steping stone for us to show we are not dangerous country, and hopefully in a 10-20 years can be given another chance at the hosting the Mens world cup.

Besides Mali, that's a pretty tough group. Luckily they're our first opponents so that should provide a necessary confidence boost. At the end of the day we have destroy that group no matter what the draw would have been.

PS. In the few moments I saw of the drawing, I've confirmed that I want to scorch Yoreli Rincon

Mali is not that bad either. African teams give us trouble in Youth competitions. I think we will win all three games but they won't be easy. The Altitude in Bogota will help.

I'm actually happy with the group. Mali is the weakest teams between the Africans which qualified, South Korea is an average team, don't confuse with the senior team and we should beat them either, simply because we are better. France is France, very good and potential team, but in these ages there isn't too much difference and I don't think that they are better then us in general, so us being the host gives a bit advantage on them. It's all on the paper of course, but I'm satisfied. Now Lara and the boys need to prove the world that Colombia has a wonderful football, which we haven't saw in the past decade on the big stage. I believe that we will take at least 7 points from this group which will be enough for 1st place.

Hey guys, I'm thinking of going to Colombia for this tourney.

What can you guys tell me about the city of Armenia? It seems like it's a bit on the rural side. Any idea on the best things to do there?

Or would it be much better to stay in Pareira?

I don't know. Mali defeated Egypt so they can't be the worst and people here are not giving them much credit. You are right about South Korea though. They did not look good in qualifying from what I have seen/read. It stinks that we have to play the Euro Champions the very first match but I think the crowd, altitude and atmosphere will lead us to victory (along with a great game by James.) It should be a very pretty match to watch though since France and Colombia are both very technical.

One other thing I would like to mention is that I think it was very smart to put Brazil in Barranquilla and Argentina in Medellin. There are a lot of supporters/band wagon fans in each respective city so attendance should be solid.
